Matthew Bomer

"Neal Caffrey"
"White Collar" premieres Friday, 10/23 at 10pm on USA

“White Collar” is fantastic for a lot of reasons. The pacing is remarkable, the story is fresh, the use of music is masterful, and, don’t get us wrong, the supporting cast -- including Tim DeKay (“Tell Me You Love Me”), Tiffani Thiessen (“Saved by the Bell”), and Willie Garson (“Sex and the City”) -- is superb. But, let’s get to the point. The star of the show, Matt Bomer -- who plays a charming criminal mastermind named Neal Caffrey -- is, without a doubt, the sexiest man to grace the small screen since Tom Selleck got our motors running in that red Ferrari on “Magnum, P.I.” back in 1980. Yes, that’s saying a lot, and yes, we mean it! So, listen up, ladies … and a few of you gentlemen: Set your DVRs because Matt is not to be missed.

Katie Cassidy

"Ella Simms"
"Melrose Place" premieres Tuesday, 9/8 at 9pm ET on The CW

Although she has starred in multiple big screen fright fests (“When a Stranger Calls,” “Black Christmas”) and in the now-defunct CBS summer flop “Harper’s Island,” Cassidy’s role of Ella Simms in the highly anticipated “Melrose Place” reboot will undoubtedly make her a household name. As a diabolical PR vixen with a penchant for ruining her peers’ reputations while getting it on with sexy members of both sexes, Cassidy’s character could easily become an icon, or at the very least the next Amanda Woodward. In fact, Cassidy herself might just be the next Heather Locklear.

"Rachel Berry"
"Glee" premieres Wednesday, 9/9 at 9pm ET on FOX

With the launch of "Glee," Lea Michele is on the brink of becoming Hollywood's next big thing. The 22-year-old actress hails from the Broadway stage, where she starred in "Ragtime," "Fiddler on the Roof," and "Les Miserables," but she's best known for her role as Wendla in "Spring Awakening." Michelle plays Rachel Berry in "Glee," the perfectionist singer with dreams of becoming a superstar. Rachel isn't exactly the most popular girl in school, but she'll let the cheerleaders have their glory as long as she has her own spotlight. She's hoping that with Mr. Schuester heading up the Glee Club, her aspirations of fame will become a reality. And now if only she could snag a leading man ...

As Stefan Salvatore -- a good vampire at war with his evil brother over the heart and soul of Mystic Falls, VA high-schooler Elena Gilbert -- Wesley gives “Twilight” hunks Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner a run for their money in the brooding, pale, misunderstood, and mysterious departments. As Elena and fans quickly learn, loving this leading man may bite, but he doesn’t suck.

Dichen Lachman

"Sierra"
"Dollhouse" returns Friday, 9/25 at 9pm ET on FOX

Joss Whedon’s “Dollhouse” introduced a few fresh face last spring, but none more unique than Dichen Lachman. Dichen (pronounced Deechen) spent her early years in Nepal (her mother is Tibetan), followed by a stint in her dad’s native Australia. There, she got her start on the long-running soap opera “Neighbours” -- a show that was also a career-starter for Russell Crowe, Guy Pearce, and Kylie Minogue. Dichen is both physically striking and remarkably talented -- just the type of actress Yahoo! TV gets super-excited about.

Danny Pudi

"Abed"
"Community" premieres Thursday, 9/17 at 9:30pm ET on NBC

Danny Pudi plays Abed in the new NBC comedy “Community” and you can expect him to steal every scene. Danny’s comedic timing is spot on and we found ourselves developing a little crush by the time the pilot was over. You may remember Danny from his short stints on “Greek” and “Gilmore Girls,” but we think this is his time to shine.

Molly Quinn

"Alexis Castle"
"Castle" returns Monday, 9/21 at 10pm ET on ABC

Molly Quinn is the adorable teenage girl with the old soul and bright blue eyes who plays Nathan Fillion’s daughter Alexis on the popular new ABC series “Castle.” There are many things to like about “Castle,” and Molly is at the top of that list. We were beyond impressed with her ability to hold her own with stars like Fillion and Emmy-nominee Susan Sullivan, especially when we learned that Molly was only 15-years-old.

Zach Galifianakis

"Ray Hueston"
"Bored to Death" premieres Sunday, 9/20 at 9:30pm on HBO

Prior to this summer, there were plenty of places you might have caught a glimpse of twisted standup comic Zach Galifianakis: his recurring role on "Tru Calling," Kanye West's "Can't Tell Me Nothing" video, or his online talk-show parody "Between Two Ferns." And then "The Hangover" came along and made him one of the most recognizable bearded faces in Hollywood (even if people still don't know his name). While Warner Bros. scrambles to crank out a script for "The Hangover 2," Galifianakis will keep his star burning bright by costarring in HBO's new Jason Schwartzman detective comedy, "Bored to Death," where he plays an eccentric comic-book artist and best bud to Schwartzman's amateur gumshoe. Don't be surprised if he starts getting more screen time as the series progresses.

Archie Panjabi

"Kalinda Sharma"
"The Good Wife" premieres Tuesday, 9/22 at 10pm ET on CBS

A big star in her native England thanks to a multitude of award-winning roles in BBC productions including “Bideshi,” “Thin Blue Line,” and “Life on Mars,” Panjabi is now trying to conquer North America with CBS’ latest legal drama, “The Good Wife.” As Kalinda Sharma -- a no-nonsense law firm investigator and Julianna Margulies’ eventual ally -- the British-born actress steals nearly every scene she appears in. With her dry sense of humor and refined acting chops, Panjabi is also bound to steal an Emmy nomination next year, along with the hearts of viewers.

Jon Foster

"Zack"
"Accidentally on Purpose" premieres Monday, 9/21 at 8:30pm ET on CBS

In his first leading role on TV, 25-year-old Jon Foster will surely be compared to Seth Rogen, since, as Rogen did in the film "Knocked Up," Foster will be playing a sophomoric slacker who gets a career woman (this time Jenna Elfman) pregnant thanks to a one-night stand. But Zack is definitely cuter and probably even more charming than Rogen, making him perfect for the role of boy-toy-turned-boyfriend in the new CBS comedy "Accidentally on Purpose."

Melinda McGraw

"Tilly Pryor"
"Hank" premieres Wednesday, 9/23 at 8pm ET on ABC

Melinda McGraw turned heads as Bobbie Barrett, the flaunt-it-if-you've-got-it, heavy-drinking manager and philandering wife of a brash comic Jimmy Barrett on the acclaimed drama "Mad Men." After guest stints on procedurals like "CSI" and "Law & Order: SVU," the Greek-born 46-year-old is ready to give comedy try with a starring role alongside Kelsey Grammer on NBC's new sitcom "Hank." McGraw plays the wife of a Wall Street legend whose family has to "downsize" by saying goodbye to the high life in New York City and saying hello to small-town America.

Matt Lanter

"Liam"
"90210" returns Tuesday, 9/8 at 8pm ET on The CW

Matt Lanter brooded onto the scene at West Beverly High at the end of "90210's" first season as hunky Liam, the rebellious teen bartender who wanted nothing to do with school and took great pleasure in making school snob Naomi jump through hoops trying to make him hers. The 26-year-old hottie has had a few recurring roles on shows including "Heroes" and most recently lent his voice to animated series "Star Wars: The Clone Wars." One thing's for sure: Lanter's Liam Court is officially the Dylan McKay of the new millennium, and we can't wait to see what trouble he'll kick up during the teen drama's second season.

Taylor Schilling

"Veronica"
"Mercy" premieres Wednesday, 9/23 at 8pm ET on NBC

Even though her only major role to date was in the 2007 movie "Dark Matter" opposite Meryl Streep, Taylor Schilling is poised to become a household name with her role as nurse Veronica in NBC's new medical drama "Mercy." Veronica has just returned to New Jersey's Mercy Hospital after a tour in Iraq. And although she's outspoken and actually knows more about medicine than all of the residents combined, Veronica has personal issues both inside the hospital and out in the real world that she refuses to talk about.

Jesse Tyler Ferguson

"Mitchell"
"Modern Family" premieres Wednesday, 9/23 at 9pm ET on ABC

The new ABC sitcom "Modern Family" boasts a huge ensemble cast, but one new face quickly emerges as a standout. Jesse Tyler Ferguson plays Mitchell, a gay man who, along with his partner Cameron, has just adopted a baby from Vietnam. While Mitchell is fairly laid-back, Cameron has a flair for the dramatic, which means Mitchell's pink, bearded face usually bears a wonderfully pained "I can't believe this is happening" expression. The Montana-born actor spent years treading the boards on and off Broadway before landing roles in the short-lived sitcoms "The Class" and "Do Not Disturb." But now, as the stressed-out straight man (no pun intended) of this comic gay couple, we think he's finally found his breakout role.

Jaime Ray Newman

"Kat Gardener"
"Eastwick" premieres Wednesday, 9/23 at 10pm ET on ABC

Jaime Ray Newman is no newcomer to acting -- the 31-year-old Michigan beauty has been doing it since she was 11, and she's had roles (albeit small ones) on everything from "Stargate: Atlantis" to "Veronica Mars." She even had a lengthy run on the soap opera "General Hospital." But this fall she's about to burst onto the prime-time stage, thanks to a new show with a familiar name: "Eastwick." Starring alongside Rebecca Romijn and Lindsay Price, Newman plays one of three local women who get in touch with their special powers just as a mysterious visitor comes to town. We're thinking her character, Kat, isn't the only one who'll be seeing a surge in abilities, thanks to this show.

Dan Byrd

"Travis Cobb"
"Cougar Town" premieres Wednesday, 9/23 at 9:30pm ET on ABC

Don't let that baby face fool you, because Dan Byrd in countless TV shows and movies and is quickly establishing himself as a highly sought after actor. He was last seen on "Heroes" in a memorable arc as Luke, the protégé apprentice of villain Sylar (Zachary Quinto). Last fall, Byrd starred in the short-lived but critically acclaimed series "Aliens in America." Now he'll be playing Travis Cobb, the witty son of Courteney Cox's Jules, who loves his mom but is desperately embarrassed by her habit of saying exactly what she's thinking the moment she thinks it. Now that she's on the prowl, things in the Cobb house could get even more mortifying for Travis.
