Deal or No Deal
Talk about intense! On “Deal or No Deal,” one contestant at a time gets the chance to beat the odds by choosing one of 26 sealed briefcases, each containing varying amounts of cash -- from a measly penny to a mega $1 million. With host Howie Mandel at the helm, contestants must try to eliminate the 25 remaining cases while mulling over offers from the mysterious "banker" and getting advice from the family and friends they've brought along. Sometimes, taking a risk pays off. Other times, players get a little too greedy and end up with next to nothing. more
Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?
Hosted by everybody's favorite redneck Jeff Foxworthy, "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?" challenges adults to come up with answers to questions based on material from an elementary school-level curriculum. It's actually harder than it sounds, with questions on subjects most of us haven't studied in years. If contestants find themselves stumped, they can call upon a cast of school-age children for help with questions as they try for a top prize of $1 million. more
Survivor 17
On this unprecedented season, dubbed "Fans vs. Favorites," 10 former castaways get a second chance, while 10 ultimate "Survivor" fans of the show get their dream opportunity to be a part of the long-running reality hit. The two tribes will head to the Rock Islands of Palau, Micronesia, where the past players will have the opportunity to use the skills they picked up the first time around, while the newbies hope their enthusiasm will buoy them all the way to the top title of Sole Survivor. more
Wheel of Fortune
Host Pat Sajak and his long-standing letter-turner, Vanna White, have been synonymous with "Wheel of Fortune" since 1983. In this TV game show version of "Hangman," contestants spin the big wheel for cash, prizes, and a chance to guess which letters are contained in a hidden phrase that's finally revealed when a contestant solves the puzzle. more
The Price Is Right
Welcome to "The Price Is Right"! Come on down to the longest running game show in television history, now in its 36th season. The show's new host is Drew Carey, previously hosted by Bob Barker, winner of 17 Daytime Emmy awards. The new season will start out with some exciting wins, as several contestants make some lucky spins on the big Wheel. Others have the chance to win some of the most expensive cars ever given away on the show, as well as trips to exotic locations and more amazing prizes. In addition, the familiar set has been refreshed to give it an updated look while keeping the recognizable "Price is Right" theme and appearance. more
Jeopardy!
Each night, three brainy contestants compete for cash by coming up with a question for each answer in a variety of categories, from pop culture to Greek mythology. During the first round, questions are worth between $200 and $1000, but their values double during the more difficult "Double Jeopardy" round. Hosted by Alex Trebek, "Jeopardy" is often anybody's game, thanks to a Final Jeopardy round which allows contestants to risk it all on one last question. more
Who Wants to Be a Millionaire
The goal of this game show seems simple enough: Answer all the questions and win a million dollars. But there's a catch. If contestants miss just one question, they're out. Host Meredith Vieira asks each player a series of questions as the money at stake increases. Contestants also have the chance to use "lifelines" to help them answer their multiple choice questions, but once those are used up, players are on their own as they try to make it to millionaire status. more
1 vs. 100
One contestant takes on a mob of 100 in this game show hosted by Bob Saget. The player must answer every question correctly, building up a bank of money based on how many mob members get the question wrong. After each correct question, the contestant gets to decide whether to take the money or continue and take on the mob. But player beware: answer one question wrong, and not only are you out, but the mob gets to happily split all your loot. more
The Moment of Truth
Would you reveal a deep, dark, embarrassing secret for money? How about for $500,000? That's what contestants on this new game show are about to do as they're hooked up to lie detector tests and asked to give the honest truth. They'll be questioned about their marriages (while their spouses look on) and asked (by an overweight person) if fat people repulse them. Will contestants' desires for the big prize give them the guts to say what they mean? more
America's Got Talent
This ain't your average talent show. "America's Got Talent," hosted by Jerry Springer, showcases performers from all over the country as they attempt to turn their acts -- from violin playing to ventriloquism-- into a million dollars. Actor David Hasselhoff, music biz whiz Sharon Osbourne, and U.K. TV personality Piers Morgan serve as the judges who get to decide which aspiring star has more talent than the rest. more
Power of 10
Hosted by the comical Drew Carey, The "Power of 10" polls thousands of Americans on a mix of topics to test players' knowledge of their fellow citizens. Contestants must take their best guesses at how Americans responded to questions like "What percentage of Americans have ever been fingerprinted?" or "What percentage of Americans say they were virgins when they got married?" Each correct answer increases the money at stake, with the top prize coming in at a staggering $10 million. more
