Amazing Race 19

Returns: Sunday, 9/25 at 8pm ET on CBS

What to Expect: People racing around the world, playing with gnomes, and drinking Snapple in order to win cash money. This time with less unfinished business.

Will We Watch It? Yes. If nothing else, "Expedition Impossible" made us realize how good this show really is.

Simpsons

Returns: Sunday, 9/25 at 8pm ET on Fox

What to Expect: This season will include the landmark 500th episode, where the rest of Springfield wants to get rid of the Simpson family.

Will We Watch It? Here and there, like we have been for the past two decades.

The Cleveland Show

Returns: Sunday, 9/25 at 8:30pm. ET on Fox

What to Expect: Honestly? We've got no idea. If you watch this show, you probably know what you are getting from Seth MacFarlane, Mike Henry, and company.

Will We Watch It? Clearly not.

Desperate Housewives

Returns: Sunday, 9/25 at 9pm ET on ABC

What to Expect: It's the final season, so they should be on a breakneck pace to wrap up everything, except that it's "Desperate Housewives," so they'll likely just repeat a million storylines that we've seen before until the last episode.

Will We Watch It? Absolutely not. We've got better things to do with our Sunday nights, namely "The Good Wife."

Good Wife

Returns: Sunday, 9/25 at 9pm ET on CBS

What to Expect: The cliffhanger left a whole lot of strings hanging with Kalinda, Peter, Will, and Alicia that we can't wait to see resolved, and "House" refugee Lisa Edelstein will be joining for a bit as Will's old partner.

Will We Watch It? Indeed. This show gets juicier and more intriguing with every episode.

Family Guy

Returns: Sunday, 9/25 at 9pm ET on Fox

What to Expect: Ricky Gervais: talking Dolphin. Yes, really.

Will We Watch It? Yeah. Even though it's not as consistently funny as it used to be, the occasional laughs are worth it.

Boardwalk Empire

Returns: Sunday, 9/25 at 9pm on HBO

What to Expect: Bugsy Siegel and Al Capone's brothers (we're all for anything that adds more Al Capone), while William Forsythe (who played Capone on the '90s TV version of "The Untouchables") is back in gangster mode.

Will We Watch It? Yes. Even though Season 1 was a little on the sluggish side, there was some intriguing stuff happening.

American Dad

Returns: Sunday, 9/25 at 9:30pm ET on Fox

What to Expect: More family and awkward CIA humor.

Will We Watch It? No way. We'd rather be forced to watch "The Cleveland Show."

Pan Am

Premieres: Sunday, 9/25 at 10pm ET on ABC

Cast: Christina Ricci, Kelli Garner, Karine Vanasse, Margot Robbie, Mike Vogel, Michael Mosley

What Is It About? Aiming to be the next "Mad Men," this series is about Pan Am stewardesses before they preferred to be called flight attendants. There's a lot of relationship drama and even some spy stuff.

How Many Episodes Should You Watch? Most of them. This show is a lot more fun than the other "Mad Men" wannabe, "The Playboy Club."

CSI: Miami

Returns: Sunday, 9/25 at 10pm ET on CBS

What to Expect: "24" alum Carlos Bernard is coming on as a rival for Horatio Caine, and that's about all we can remotely pretend to care about.

Will We Watch It? Nope. The only reason it's season-passed on our DVRs is because football overruns are guaranteed to push "The Good Wife" (and "The Amazing Race") back. Otherwise, we'd positively ignore its existence.

Dexter

Returns: Sunday, 10/2 at 9pm on Showtime

What to Expect: The show is heading a little into the future, about a year, and Edward James Olmos, Mos Def, and Colin Hanks will be guest-starring.

Will We Watch It? Yes. And not just because we're afraid that he'll kill us and throw us in the Gulf Stream.

Hung

Returns: Sunday, 10/2 at 10pm on HBO

What to Expect: More male nudity ... as it seems that Ray's keeping his prostitute job.

Will We Watch It? No, because somehow this show about prostitution is boring.

How to Make it in America

Returns: Sunday, 10/2 at 10:30pm on HBO

What to Expect: The trailer makes it look like these "Entourage" wannabes have been busy since last we saw them, but the last time we saw them was when we sat through the pilot.

Will We Watch It? No. We're not even going to bother getting sucked into this one and then hating it, like we did with "Entourage."

Walking Dead

Returns: Sunday, 10/16 at 9pm on A&E

What to Expect: A new writing staff and also a new showrunner. Same zombies, though. And some new humans that are still alive, which is good, because the death factor is big here.

Will We Watch It? Yes. Behind the scenes may be a mess, but we still have our fingers crossed that this will be decent.

Once Upon a Time

Premieres: Sunday, 10/23 at 8pm ET on ABC

Cast: Ginnifer Goodwin, Jennifer Morrison, Robert Carlyle, Lana Parrilla, Jamie Dornan, Jared Gilmore, Josh Dallas, Raphael Sbarge

What Is It About? So Jennifer Morrison is a bail bondswoman who is brought back to the town of Storybrooke, Maine to help characters from a fantasy book (of which she is unknowingly one) get out of their normal earthbound lives and back to their fairytales.

How Many Episodes Should You Watch? One or two. It's worth a sampling, but it's bizarre to be sure and while we may like its originality, it might get old really quickly.

Allen Gregory

Premieres: Sunday, 10/30 at 8:30pm ET on Fox

Cast: Jonah Hill, French Stewart, Nat Faxon, Joy Osmanski

What Is It About? This new animated series sounds like it will fit right in with the other Fox cartoons. Allen Gregory is a precocious 7-year-old who has to go to "real" school after being homeschooled by his worldly father.

How Many Episodes Should You Watch? A couple, we suppose. Looks terrible, but it has some very funny people involved.

Hell on Wheels

Premieres: Sunday, 11/6 at 10pm on AMC

Cast: Anson Mount, Dominique McElligott, Colm Meaney, Common, Ben Esler, Eddie Spears, Philip Burke, April Telek

What Is It About? Cullen (Anson Mount) is a Confederate soldier who is out to get revenge on the Union soldiers who were responsible for the death of this wife, to do so he seeks them out at a dangerous section of the transcontinental railroad.

How Many Episodes Should You Watch? It seems to have some similarities to "Deadwood" (without all the profanity). If that holds true, we'll be glued to the TV.
