Heroes
"Heroes" fans got to visit a booth designed after Isaac’s loft, featuring original art by comic book artist Tim Sale. 4,000 fans packed themselves into seats as the "Heroes" team hosted a special showing of an exclusive preview clip from the upcoming Volume II. (Watch the Comic-Con clip.) Afterward, “Heroes” co-executive producer Jeph Loeb moderated a Q&A session with creator Tim Kring, artist Tim Sale, and the “Heroes” cast. Attendees learned that Zachary Quinto, a.k.a. Sylar, will be cast as Spock in an upcoming "Star Trek" film, and everyone went crazy to hear that Kevin Smith would be directing the first episode of the new spinoff series, "Heroes: Origins." Also mentioned was a new "Heroes" character, Monica, who comes from hurricane-ravaged Louisiana.

Bionic Woman
Excited fans had the chance to see the pilot episode of this new drama, and there was a Q&A session immediately following, featuring Michelle Ryan (Jaime Sommers), Katee Sackhoff (Sarah Corvis), and more. (Watch the Comic-Con clip.) Great "Bionic Woman" loot was available throughout the weekend as roving staff handed out T-shirts and postcards.
Chuck
This new comedic action series screened its pilot episode in a special premiere event. (Watch the Comic-Con clip.) There was a panel discussion and poster-signing afterward featuring excecutive producers Josh Schwartz and McG, as well as members of the cast. Meanwhile fans kept their eyes out during the weekend for the street team that handed out “Chuck” postcards, buttons, and T-shirts. more
Lost
"Lost" fans gathered at a special Season 4 discussion and video game preview, which featured co-creator/executive producer Damon Lindelof and executive producer Carlton Cuse. (Watch the video game trailer.) Attendees were treated to a stunning and disturbing "orientation film" of Station 6, The Orchid. Spoiler alert!! Among other exciting news, fans learned that Michael would be returning to the show, that Jack and Claire would find out they are related, and that there would be more use of the flash-forward technique, including events taking place after the Jack/Kate scene in the Season 3 finale. Then, on Saturday, superfans Jay and Jack Glatfelter led a special Q & A about their famous podcasts, and the massive "Lost" internet fan base mingled at the Lost Fan Summit.

Pushing Daisies
Those who didn't sleep in were treated to an exclusive look at ABC's most highly anticipated new show. "Pushing Daisies" combines procedural drama and the supernatural and throws in a dash of Technicolor romance. Stars and creators of the show, including executive producer Bryan Fuller, were on hand after the special pilot screening to answer questions about the upcoming series. more
Battlestar Galactica
Fans flocked to see Katee Sackhoff (“Starbuck”), Mary McDonnell (Laura Roslin), and Tricia Helfer (Number Six) in celebration of the powerful women of “Battlestar Galactica.” (Watch the Comic-Con clip.) This special panel was moderated by Mark Bernardin of “Entertainment Weekly” magazine. One of the most exciting bits of news revealed was that fan favorite Lucy Lawless will be returning for the final season of the series, and will have at least one scene with Mary McDonnell. The identity of the final Cylon will be revealed in the latter half of the season.

Eureka
The cast of “Eureka” and some behind-the-scenes creative powers discussed the success of the first season as well as what’s coming up next season at this year's convention. (Watch a the Comic-Con clip.) Panelists included Colin Ferguson (Jack Carter), Salli Richardson (Allison Blake), Ed Quinn (Nathan Stark), and Joe Morton (Henry Deacon), as well as Co-Creator Jaime Paglia and VP of Original Programming at Sci Fi, Tony Optican.
Stargate Atlantis
In season four, Amanda Tapping will be joining the “Atlantis” cast as Lt. Col. Samantha Carter, and a new race will be introduced into the series. (Watch the Comic-Con clip.) Comic-Con attendees got to find out the details at a panel featuring cast members Amanda Tapping, David Hewlett (Dr. Rodney McKay), and Jewel Staite (Dr. Jennifer Keller), as well as Executive Producers Joe Mallozzi and Robert Cooper.
Who Wants to Be a Superhero
Comic book legend Stan Lee made an appearance on to discuss the current season of this supercharged reality competition. (Watch the Comic-Con clip.) At the end of the season, one contestant’s superhero character will be immortalized with his or her own comic book and action figure. Contestants Hygena and Hyperstrike participated in the panel, as well as last season’s winner, Feedback.
Tin Man
At Kids’ Day at the convention, actress Kathleen Robertson participated with a special “Wizard of Oz” reading for younger fantasy fans. Afterward, kids and parents enjoyed an exclusive preview of Sci Fi’s upcoming December miniseries “Tin Man”: a psychedelic science-fiction version of L. Frank Baum’s classic tale, in which Kathleen Robertson will play the evil sorceress Azkadellia.
Flash Gordon
The Sci Fi channel brings us a 21st-century reimagining of the classic “Flash Gordon” adventures, starring Eric Johnson as Flash and Gina Holden as Dale Arden. Eric and Gina, as well as Executive Producer Peter Hume, attended a special panel at Comic-Con to discuss the upcoming show. It was revealed that Sam Jones, star of the 1980 "Flash Gordon" movie, will be guest-starring on the new series. more
Torchwood
Comic-Con attendees got a special sneak preview of the new “Doctor Who” spinoff about present-day crime-solvers who use alien technology. (Watch the Comic-Con preview.) In addition to the preview, there was a panel discussion with writers Chris Chibnall and Noel Clarke (Mickey Smith from “Doctor Who”), producer Richard Stokes, and prosthetics supervisor Matt O’Toole. Craig Tomashoff of TV Guide served as moderator. more
Jericho
"Jericho" is back and better than ever. At Comic-Con, the post-apocalyptic drama’s producers and cast members held a special panel to discuss the upcoming season and DVD release. Fans were able to view Season 1 outtakes, extras from the Season 1 DVDs, and exclusive preview footage from Season 2. Among those signing autographs were stars Skeet Ulrich, Ashley Scott, and Lennie James.

Those eagerly awaiting the upcoming vampire detective drama “Moonlight” were sure to attend this special appearance by creator Joel Silver. Silver participated in a panel speaking about his upcoming film “Return to House on Haunted Hill.” While there, he took the opportunity to give fans some sneak peeks into his dark and mysterious new television series. more
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles
This year's Comic-Con featured a special extended cut of the upcoming pilot for “The Sarah Connor Chronicles.” (Get a peek at the show's panel at Comic-Con.)
This screening was open to convention attendees and was followed by a Q&A session with cast and crew, including stars Lena Headey (Sarah Connor), Thomas Dekker (John Connor), Summer Glau (Cameron), and Richard T. Jones (James Ellison), as well as producers Josh Friedman, David Nutter, and James Middleton.

Simpsons
D'oh! Having just aired its 400th episode in May, The Simpsons is about to release its first feature film. Comic-Con attendees got to join members of the "Simpsons" team and find out how they did it. In attendance were Matt Groening (creator and executive producer), Al Jean (EP/head writer), Matt Selman (executive producer), David Silverman (director of The Simpsons Movie), Matt Warburton (supervising producer), and Yeardley Smith (voice of Lisa). Among other news, fans found out that Jon Stewart and Dan Rather will lend their voices to Season 19 of the show, in an episode where Ralph Wiggum runs for President.
Family Guy
Making another appearance at Comic-Con this year was creator Seth MacFarlane, showrunner/executive producer David A. Goodman, and the creative team behind Fox's hit comedy Family Guy. All in all it made for a memorable hour of laughs and Q&A. This year's season premiere episode will retell the Star Wars story with the Griffins in the roles of the legendary Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, and more!

Smallville
The convention’s “Smallville” event included a special screening and discussion with Al Gough and Miles Millar, the executive producers of the show. Those who always wanted to spend some time with Supergirl got their wish, as newcomer Laura Vandervoort made a special appearance at Comic-Con's “Smallville” Q&A. Clark Kent’s cousin Kara, a.k.a. Supergirl, will be joining the cast of characters next season. So will Dean Cain, it was announced; he will appear as a villain in the series.

On Saturday, TV Guide’s West Coast Bureau Chief Craig Tomashoff hosted a panel discussion of “Supernatural” Season three, a lively event which featured onscreen brothers Jared Padalecki (Sam) and Jensen Ackles (Dean) along with the show’s producers. The audience was given the chance to ask questions of the producers and stars as well as view a special highlights reel from the show. more

Fans of "The 4400" got a speical treat at Comic-Con. A showing of scenes from the current season was followed by a panel discussion featuring Billy Campbell (Jordan Collier), Chad Faust (Kyle Baldwin), Megalyn Echikunwoke (Isabelle Tyler), Jenni Baird (Megan Doyle), executive producer Ira Steven Behr, and supervising producer Craig Sweeny (Medium). more
