It's Garry Shandling's Show

Buy 'It's Gary Shandling's Show' The Complete Series DVD
Available October 20

The half-hour sitcom “It’s Garry Shandling’s Show” starred Shandling as a neurotic, slightly self-obsessed stand-up comedian who did everything and anything to break the “fourth wall” between performer and audience. Garry spent just as much time interacting with the studio audience as he did with the regular cast members on the show. The program often featured Garry doing monologues and show-closing summations of the episode’s events. All of the supporting characters on the show were also aware that they were TV sitcom characters. Now you can own the entire award-winning, mind-bending television series with this 16-disc DVD set of all 72 episodes from all four seasons plus in-depth bonus content, including extensive featurettes, commentaries, outtakes, and much more.

Inspired by the work of forensic anthropologist Kathy Reichs, this show is full of fascinating scientific detail as well as quirky characters. When identifying a dead body becomes nearly impossible due to badly decomposed, burned, or destroyed remains, law enforcement calls in forensic anthropologist Dr. Temperance Brennan (the enchanting Emily Deschanel), who has a unique talent: She can read clues left behind in victims' bones and use them to solve murders. Many of her law enforcement colleagues have trouble dealing with her intimidating intelligence and hard-core ambition, but FBI Agent Seeley Booth (the delicious David Boreanaz), who has a knack for dealing with people, finds he's the perfect match for the scientifically driven Brennan. Season 4 found the duo on a business trip to China, investigating the death of conjoined twins, and dealing with a case of death imitating art.
