The Andromeda Strain

This two-night mini-series focuses on the chain of events that unfolds after a U.S. satellite crash-lands near a small town in Utah, unleashing a deadly plague that kills almost every resident. Everyone, that is, except for the two survivors who may be able provide clues to immunizing the population. As the military attempts to quarantine the area, a group of highly-specialized scientists come together to help find a cure and stop the spread of the alien pathogen, code-named “Andromeda.”
