Tom Welling
"Clark Kent"
He's just a small-town boy growing up in Kansas. Oh yeah, and he's from another planet and just happens to have superhuman abilities. Clark Kent is just starting to realize that his powers should be used "for the greater good" and that his once best friend Lex Luthor is headed down a dark path. Our main hero seems to be accepting his destiny and has begun to actively hunt down evildoers.

"Green Arrow"
Millionaire playboy Oliver Queen has an alter ego, the crime-fighting, bow-and-arrow clad Green Arrow. The hero has taken Metropolis by storm and has swept Lois Lane off her feet. Green Arrow is the one pushing Clark to join the Justice League that Oliver has helped organize to take matters into their own hands.
Justin Hartley on:
Playing another hero/villain:
"I like the energy of The Riddler from Batman-- that would be a blast to play."
Battling another hero/villain:
"I'd say a battle with Wolverine against the Green Arrow would be a great match as both characters do hand-to-hand battle. I'd give the edge to the Green Arrow ..." more
Kyle Gallner
"Impulse"
The youngest (but quickest) member of the nascent Justice League, Impulse (Bart Allen) dropped into 'Smallville' two years ago and took Clark on a whirlwind ride. In their first encounter, Bart didn't use his superspeed wisely and lacked responsibility. The most recent time around, Bart was captured and tortured by Lex after breaking into a lab at LuthorCorp. Has Impulse grown up and is he ready to be part of a team?
Kyle Gallner on:
Playing another hero/villain:
"If I could play another superhero, I would definitely play Spawn."
Battling another hero/villain:
"If I were Spawn and could fight any villain, I would have to fight Overkill. Other villains I would like to fight include The Joker, Cell from Dragon Ball Z, and Shredder teamed up with Bebop and Rocksteady. It's pizza time!" more
Alan Ritchson
"Aquaman"
AC Curry got his first exposure to 'Smallville' courtesy of Lois Lane, when he saved her from drowning. Clark saw AC's abilities under the water and eventually had to free Aquaman from one of LuthorCorp's labs. Lois and AC had sparks and shared a kiss, which seemed to get Clark jealous. Now Aquaman is back to help take apart LuthorCorp's secret lab. Will Lois have to choose between Aquaman, Green Arrow and Clark? (Some girls have all the luck!)
Alan Ritchson on:
Playing another hero/villain:
"I've always wanted to be Wolverine."
Battling another hero/villain:
"When I was a kid I used to love He-Man, so I'd say Skeletor." more
Lee Thompson Young
"Cyborg"
Clark first met Victor Stone, a former Metropolis University athlete whose family died in a car accident last year. Victor was brought "back to life" thanks to cyborg implants from LuthorCorp that left him as part man and part machine. Now Victor has answered the call by Green Arrow and is back as yet another member of the unofficial Justice League to use his expertise to tap into and control machinery.
Lee Thompson Young on:
Playing another hero/villain:
"I would be the Black Captain America!"
Battling another hero/villain:
"I’m lucky. I think the villain I would most like to battle is Lex Luthor. I get to do that every time I’m on Smallville." more
Michael Rosenbaum
"Lex Luthor"
What once was a strong friendship between the uber-rich Lex Luthor and farmtown boy Clark Kent has morphed into a heated rivalry. Not only are the former fast friends fighting over business tactics and ethics, but Lex also stole Clark's girlfriend Lana Lang for a period of time last season. Lex previously fought his darker urges but seems to be falling deeper into the abyss that could lead to more destructive behavior. more
James Marsters
"Brainiac"
Professor Milton Fine first entered the 'Smallville' universe as one of Clark's professors. Pretty soon it became obvious that Fine had a secret, which he eventually revealed to be that he too, like Clark, was a Kryptonian. It turns out Fine or 'Brainiac' was actually a machine and had an ultimate agenda of freeing Zod from the Phantom Zone. more

"Martian Manhunter"
Shrouded in mystery and unsure of his intentions, we were introduced to the mysterious Martian Manhunter earlier this season when Clark was in Seattle. The Martian Manhunter took off into the sky, leaving a bewildered Clark to wonder who or what it was. The only clues left behind were the remnants of some Oreo cookies. more
