David Archuleta

Born in Miami, FL on Dec. 28, 1990, David Archuleta grew up in Murray, UT, where he began singing at age seven. Currently a junior at Murray High School, he has performed with an a cappella choir group and plays the piano. His youthful exuberance impressed the judges from day one of auditions, with Simon Cowell proclaiming him "the one to beat," following Archuleta's cover of John Lennon's anthem, "Imagine."
