The ONLY Show on Fox Worth Watching
October 17, 2009It's the longest running primetime show on TV for a reason - you can't script the stuff that comes up. OK, it's usually white trash and ghetto dwellers, and the domestic violence stuff is always sad, but there are priceless moments of laugh-til-you-drop comedy.
Who can ever forget the "These are not my pants" guy or officer chatting with the driver who has a JOINT stuck atop his right ear? My personal fave is the big black woman in a screaming panic over the little snake in her house, closely followed by the couple whose food fight left them both covered head to toe in flour.
Cops is instructive in that it depicts the infinite range of situations and scenarios that officers must be prepared to confront. They never know what awaits them, and neither does the viewer.

Amazing.. that may be some folks perception but i say these Stupid lawbreakers shown on cops run, hide, lie and it gets them in much more trouble.. Cops doing their jobs when folks dont know how to relax or will not relax and at the same time try to kick away a crack pipe or bag or meth or coke.. all the lawbreakers ive seen on cops thus far are about as dumb as they come... Its taught me one lesson.. If i ever, heaven forbid, get pulled over..just tell the truth.. the cops are not stupid. Save yourself from worse legal actions..Was this review helpful to you? A reason to stay home past 7pm on a Saturday Night
March 29, 2009I love this show! I think the Ohio cops in their white uniforms look like sailors. Here comes the poe poe, in their bleached white uniforms in the dark...This show has been a fav of mine for years! Lately, they havn't had as exciting of adventures as the old ones, but I still make sure to be around Saturday nights to watch. This was aired since 1989. Man, they can't behave. I'm not a bad boy and i never will. I don't wanna smoke, drink, steel, or any of that stuff. They always get therslef hurt.
