Dr. Sagan was a man for all people

He treated us all as if we were as smart as him. He made me feel smart and I fell in love with Astronomy because of him. He never made you feel that he was talking down to you. He was a brilliant man and there hasn't been anyone like him since his death. He is missed...Cosmos was as enlightning as he was. The power of the show to draw you in and take you somewhere away from every day life was unbelieveable. From the visuals, the music and the subjects, it was a magnificent journey into the past, present and future. Nothing like it has been on since. It was the one show I couldn't wait to see and I miss it.

Such an insightful, passionate, intelligent, and kind human being. He also understood that humans were having an effect on our own planet... let's hope we can turn it into a positive one.

TV for the mind

Carl Sagan takes on some of the most difficult science and explains it in laments terms. I have always found his explanations a bit simple but very understandable. You don’t have to have a PHD in physics to get valuable and insightful information from this show. I’m sure it had inspired many to ask the question Why?

Amazing

This series breaks down the history of science and many complex scientifical ideas into terms that anyone can understand. When you combine the amazing visuals (for it's time) with possibly the most beautiful soundtrack ever compiled you get one of the greatest miniseries ever made. This is a must see for everyone.

The only "real" "reality" show available.

Carl Sagan provides his audience with a program that is thought provoking, easy to understand, and completely engrossing. It may be enjoyed by people of all ages, races, cultures and religions. Mr. Sagan offers his timeless insights in an Intelligent, absorbing and informative manner. In comparison to the myriad of questionable reality shows available, this is the only truly real reality there is. As far as entertainment is concerned - what more could you ask for?
