the acting was horrible,the pace was too slow.the caracthers were not interesting at all,being so dull until you can't possibly become invested in there lives or their struggles especially dennis hopper.the caracther he was portraying had potential of being interesting but he was yelling most of the time and was just plain obnoxious to watch.the series pales in comparison dramaticly to the movie.im so disappointed untill i actually hope the show gets cancelled. it's too bad to continue on as a series and is not up to par like the movie was.you actually liked the caracthers in the movie! on the series there just plain annoying.

watched first episode on line..and it is totally different show...needs to be careful when children is around, due to language and sexual issuses on show, other than that it is very interesting show ever...love it..it is good to see more different ethnicities invloved on this show like Koreans and Guatemalans...good try and love to see more diversed characters and ethnicities and ages involved as this show goes on...best wishes...^^

I haven't felt such pull for my ppl since the first time I saw "ROOTS". This is definitely not a "movin' on to get along" type show. Wonderfully written, cast and performed!!
