Funnier than expected.

I watched this show last night and I must say at first I thought it would be silly, childish even. But I was pleasantly surprised to find myself laughing out loud on several parts. I'll definitely watch again. I'm not familiar with the British version of this show so I can't make a comparison there. But so far, I like what I see. Very Funny.

Really loved it!

I have been a fan of the British version ever since I stumbled on it while channel surfing. I did not know if an American version would be as funny, it was. Most of the criticism on here seems to center around it not being suitable for children. I wasn't aware that it was being marketed towards children. Usually when a program airs during prime time, it usually means that they are hoping for an adult demographic. Most animation that is aired in the evening is not for children (the Simpsons, Family Guy, etc.). If they wanted an audience of chidren, it would air on Saturday morning. It is still much cleaner than most of what is on TV. One review took issue with two male dogs sniffing a female dog's butt . First of all, I am not sure how the reviewer decided on the third dogs gender (other than their own assumptions), as the dog doesn't have a voice, face, or genitallia. Second, the premise of the show is that people from around the country are interviewed about their lives and/or recorded doing something they have a passion for. The audio from these interviews is then then used with claymation, with often funny results. The audio in question was from a wine tasting and was animated with dogs sniffing each other. Having just returned from the dog park, I can assure you that it is remarkably similar to what actually occurs. I have the feeling that if my dogs could talk they would constantly embarass me by saying many of the same things.

Terrific Change for CBS

Give this show 5 minutes and you will be hooked. They probably should not have started off with the dogs but I loved it. Thank god it's not a reality tv show or disillusioned individuals making asses of themselves. I am sick of cop, law, and situational comedies. This show is a nice change and Hey who doesn't like talking animals.

I loved the English version of this show and I am so glad that there is an American version now. These guys have won Academy Awards for crissakes...I have my DVR set to record this show...I will be laughing my arse off! I think the talent that goes into this show is amazing...Leave it to the English to come up with something pure genius and funny!
