The detective was killed in the hurricane, so his son has taken over the case. He brings the BAU in for help. Meanwhile, Reid continues to struggle with the aftermath of the hostage situation and he meets up with an old schoolmate.

They connect the victims through corporate development firms accused of building on contaminated land and are led to a radical environmental group that uses fire to get their message across.

Episode 20 Originally aired: April 11, 2007Agent Prentiss' mother asks the team to investigate the kidnapping of a Russian man who is being held for ransom. The victim's daughter is initially helpful, but then evades the BAU and takes the body parts the captors sent with her leading the team to determine that she was involved in the kidnapping.
