Built to Kill (Part 1)
Episode 1 Originally aired: September 21, 2006An aspiring dancer is murdered backstage during Cirque du Soleil's KA show. The team must go backstage to investigate. Then, an investor is shot to death during a rooftop party. Grissom is confused after receiving an exact miniature replica of the crime scene he is investigating. After going to a John Mayer show with Nick, Catherine is drugged and raped. Instead of calling the crime lab, she acts as her own CSI.

Episode 7 Originally aired: November 9, 2006During Grissom's investigation of the murder of a woman in her home, he receives a miniature mock-up of the crime scene. The differences in the mock-up and the actual scene provide insight to solving the crime. Meanwhile, Greg stands trial for the death of the person he killed while working.

Episode 8 Originally aired: November 16, 2006Two women who turn out to be identical twins are killed on the same night. The team believes the murders are connected, but they can't find any evidence that the women were even aware they had a twin sister, since both were adopted. As they continue to investigate they discover that one of the sister's had discovered something at work that might have made her some enemies.

Episode 9 Originally aired: November 23, 2006The team investigates a series of murders that are all linked to a mob boss who disappeared in the 70s. The team begins to wonder if the boss himself is back.

Episode 10 Originally aired: December 7, 2006When the CSIs process clues at the poultry manufacturing plant, the evidence leads them to the home of a man who collects miniature trains and other miniature paraphernalia. Grissom and his team rush to link him to the other miniature killings, but a twist in the case could prevent them from gathering enough evidence to catch the killer.

Episode 11 Originally aired: January 4, 2007Catherine's testimony fails to convict a suspected killer. Catherine is upset about losing as well as the fact that she used to date the defense lawyer. On the evening before Grissom leaves on sabbatical, Catherine goes out of town to try to find evidence to put the killer behind bars.

Episode 12 Originally aired: January 18, 2007As Catherine takes charge in Grissom's absence the team tracks a serial killer who has been killing young women since the 70s. Michael Keppler joins the team, but Catherine isn't sure about the temporary replacement for Grissom.

Episode 13 Originally aired: January 25, 2007Catherine goes along with Keppler's covert plan to catch the killer of a politician and must deceive her colleagues. The leading suspect is a drug supplier, but as the investigation continues Catherine's colleagues sense that she is hiding something.

Episode 14 Originally aired: February 1, 2007Nick and Keppler work a case that leads them to a black market for human body parts. The rest of the team investigates the death of a wealthy married woman. The investigation leads Warrick and Sara to learn about "host clubs" for women.

Episode 15 Originally aired: February 8, 2007Keppler tries to keep his past a secret from his new team mates, but this leads to him concealing the fact that he knows the suspect in the double murder case they are investigating. Grissom returns from his sabbatical.

Monster in the Box
Episode 16 Originally aired: February 15, 2007The team is surprised to learn that the miniature killer is back when Grissom receives a miniature showing that a woman and her cat are scheduled to die the next day. Grissom is upset that their search for the killer was delayed by the fact that he was on sabbatical when the package arrived, he is also puzzled when the killer doesn't leave his trademark at the crime scene.

Episode 17 Originally aired: February 22, 2007Two young high school students disappear. The team originally thinks they may have run off together, but when they find blood, they must look into foul play.

Episode 18 Originally aired: March 29, 2007When the team goes to process a house with several murdered showgirls, Sara gets to a victim before she dies and is haunted by the last words of the victim. The team finds the killer when he attempts to commit suicide. Sara rides in the ambulance with him and at the hospital she sees a birthmark and realizes that's what the victim was trying to tell her about.

Episode 19 Originally aired: April 5, 2007Greg must deal with the mother and brother of the hoodlum he killed months ago when the team learns that he was involved in the murder of a young girl. Greg steps up and helps the boy to get a lighter sentence. Hodges works in the field.

Lab Rats
Episode 20 Originally aired: April 12, 2007Grissom sends the team out with new cases and goes to spend the evening in autopsy. While he's gone, Hodges takes over his office and assembles a team leading them to believe that Grissom wants them to work on the miniature killer case. Hodges makes a connection that helps Grissom; all the cases involved bleach.

Before they can locate her, Sara disappears and Grissom finds a miniature of her death. Grissom tells the team about his relationship with Sara and they catch the killer, but she won't give up the location of Sara.
