Curb Your Enthusiasm follows the same clever format as Seinfeld weaving together seemingly unrelated vignettes into an hilarious culmination. Larry David is both lovable and loathsome as he unabashedly speaks his misanthropic mind creating endless awkward social interactions that make you think, cringe and laugh all at the same time.

I can't believe that this was the opener. First of all, give more time to the girlfriend's brother or whoever he is. He is hilarious. Also more to the crazy wife of his best friend. Again, hilarious. I have to agree with the previous reviewer who said the cancer stuff was offensive. I've never been through cancer either and I thought it was offensive. C'mon Larry, you can do sooooo much better!

I thought that this was one of the worst Curb's ever. We waited for the new season and this is what we got.
This was not at up to any previous standards and was not funny in any way.
The ending regarding Cancer was particularly offensive especially to anyone who has gone thru a similar situation.

we've been anxiously waiting for the new series and were terribly disappointed. didn't think it was at all funny. have we missed the intro that tells how he wound up with this girlfrien?
