Old-fashioned barber Harry Polachek and his son Joe merge their outmoded shop with a trendy beauty salon owned by quick-witted proprietress Adrienne St. John. The two must share the space with Adrienne's employees who include stylist Lynn Fletcher, who has an eye for Joe, gay stylist Troy King and manicurist Deborah Hart.
