I am addicted to the show
November 29, 2006
Loved the show, down to earth rough and tough as I imagined the Wild West must have been. It's not candy coated as Gunsmoke was, but that was shown at a different time and age. I like that it is not censored. The story line is very interessting and one is left wondering what will happen next. It has everything, sex, violence, some historical value and is just all around a great story.
The characters like Sverengen, Bullock, the Doc are great and Calamity Jane hilarious. Wild Bill Hickock just as I imagined he would have been.

I can't believe you're not going to film anymore.

I really like Deadwood, the grittiness, the verbiage of speach, costumes and the characters. This show and the Sapranos are the only ones I watch. Who cares about all those tired rehashed police drama's.
With the limited shows that are out there worth viewing, either national or cable I would have thought that a good show with a large audience was proof enought that people want something different.

Incredible dialogue
September 27, 2008
One of the best shows ever! The dialogue is wonderful. After a little research I found out that people really did talk that way in that time. Some of Al's speeches seem to have been written by the Bard himself.

I wish this was not cancelled.

I just liked the ruff and rauchyness of seeing how the west was - or as close to what I have read it was like. It just seemed to have ended. It should be a regular late night series. I looked forward to watching it.

The best ever - don't want it to end
July 16, 2008
Deadwood is the best series I've ever seen. Refreshing to have great acting and storyline. Captivating and never a dull moment. Impressive research done to make this show authentic. Can't wait for season 4. Hope it happens - will be a real shame to end it.
