TV sucks
November 24, 2009i only recently finished watching all three seasons of deadwood, not knowing that george hearse coaching down the thoroughfare would be the last i'd see of this beyond awesome show. i didn't have hbo when it was airing. i truly believe that, overall, this series will be a long-running case study on how to write, direct, produce (and all other elements involved) and film such a masterful piece of art. as a lay person i know little-to-nothing of the industry, but i do appreciate good writing. wow. amazing.Was this review helpful to you? deadwood withdrawals--still
April 10, 2009HBO sucks, but can redeem themselves by bringing Deadwood back!!!!!!!!!
I to this day miss the show, and seeing Al on Kings just makes me mad, because he doesnt belong there!

Deadwood Deserves Distinction

In my opinion this show was heads and tails above any show HBO has ever created and yes even the over rated Sopranos. It simply had the best writing, dialogue, and especially the cast of timeless characters. It seemed to me that everyone was casted perfectly for their roles. With all of the different networks trying their hand at new series, all hoping to come up with the next big thing, it makes me sick to know that HBO just threw away such a profound nugget of gold!!!Was this review helpful to you?
