Me not allowed? I'm allowed everywhere!

    November 25, 2009
Or at least he used to be. It really makes me mad. The Sci Fi network brought back Doctor Who after a very long hiatus and for me that just made my day because I have been a fan ever since they first aired. They played it for three years straight then all of a sudden they decide not to air it! Even my nieces who are 6 and 8 years old loved the show were disapointed. I mean come on that's like not broadcasting the Superbowl or World Series. Or like deciding not to show the final episode of any show. Bring Doctor Who back to the USA!!!!!!

    From a classic Dr. Who-vian

    October 10, 2009
Tell you all what, More or less Dr. Who is most likely the best Sci-Fi original that may have gone through some face lisfts over the years but still remains one of the best all time great Sci-Fi shows still on the air and growing strong. As for some of the actors that have been chosen (but as I would have put it - given the great opportunity to play the Fantabulous Dr. Who could not have been picked any better. They put every piece of talent they had into the part it seems, and they just captured the very essenece of the "WHO" spirit. With the show going since 1963 and still on just goes to show that people still want the thrill of sci-fi unknowns of "what is to come or what could be". To the writers and creators, all I have to say is "Thanks", not really sure how anyone could sum it up any better for giving us Dr. Who and his adventures.

    Doctor Who is brilliant!

    July 30, 2009
Being in the US and without cable, this is the only place I can see episodes of Doctor Who. There is no other show that transports you to another world as much as this one. The writing is brilliant, the characters are brilliant and very likable, the aliens are terrifying (as a personal note, the Cybermen in particular. I used to be scared the most of spiders until I saw "Rise of the Cybermen" and "Age of Steel"), and the music is beyond words. In one episode, I laugh, cry, get excited from the suspense, I scream, and I hide behind the couch;-). This is my absolute favorite show in the world, so keep showing it!

Great Episode from the new series

    July 30, 2009
Doctor Who... I was glad to see it return. Having grown up on the Fifth Doctor era(Peter Davison), I knew it would be slightly more cgi intense then back inthe good old days where everyone was in costumess... thats the only disappointment in the show now. Almost everything is CGI and not enough costuming. But I digress.

Fires of Pompeii is a brilliant episode from Tennants full last season as the 10th Doctor. But I may be biased as I love stories from Ancient Greece, or in this case, Pompeii and the Roman period. Catherine Tate was wonderful as Donna, and David Tennant was wonderful as usual.

But already seeing the new Doctor in his costume... it reminds me of the Second Doctor, Patrick Troughton. And this pleased me, as it's seems the Classic series will never be forgotten, and will always be taking part in the new series.

Another good season ahead for Dr.Who

    July 26, 2009
I first saw Dr.Who in 2 movied made during the 60's with Peter Cushing but my first exposure to the TV show was during the 80's with Tom Baker. I was hooked. Since then, I've seen the episodes with the first doctor, William Hartnell, followed by Patrick Troughton and Jon Pertwee. I've enjoyed the succeeding doctors as each has brought a distinctive personality to the character. This eventually opened the door to other British Science Fiction such as "Blake's 7", "Torchwood", and "Primeval"..all enjoyable
