Hockey Parents Gave Kid a Break

I've been watching your show and we had a similar situation as the baton twirler. Like her, our son did like the game in the beginning but after a while, he was having trouble in school and the hockey wasn't providing him what he needed in any respect. He was hanging out with some kids with similar issues, getting into pot and cigarettes. We were fortunate that we could yank him from public school and put him in a private boarding school. Even though it was a division one hockey school, we told him to pick what he wanted for sports. He chose snowboarding. The next year he went back to hockey and and proved himself to be a leader on the team. Because he went back on his own, he had no pressure from us. Now he's an avid player and has even spent hours on the ice by himself during open ice when no one else in the school showed up.Was this review helpful to you? Sign in to rate -

i have been watching your show and if i miss it imissed my day so idont really care aboutweekends. sorry for sloppy wwriting. i have just started seeing someone that i like very much. iam a widow and divorced from mychildrens father. i dont think you or robin are appriciated enough by some of the things i rread. i am on disisibility for clinical deppression for aslong as i remember my daughter hates your show and sh eis pregnant and has a two year old. so im always trying to to get her to watch. i have serios physical probem as well.my question is how do you stand by and watch your daughter make some bad decions i want to get through to her.that is what i love abou your show. i am sure you would knowWas this review helpful to you? August 13, 2009Finally,a show that I dislike less than Jerry Springer.This butthole of a show (birthed by Ofrah)is nothing short of nauseating.If scientists ever devise a way to slap someone on TV from your home,then maybe it would be worth watching.Until then "dr."phil can go pound sand.Was this review helpful to you? I'm so disappointed in today's show; that you would have a couple on who are not married and living together. Roles in MARRIAGE!
Why are so many of you on TV not taking a moral stand? You
just lost me as a person who watched your show for years. No more. I want my family to hear things that are moral.
