Homecoming
Episode 1 Originally aired: October 12, 2000Carter battles a chemical addiction, trash clutters the halls of the ER as the custodial staff strikes and victims of a football game riot flock to the ER. A riot between playres breaks out in the ER. Benton chokes back his dislike when a good position opens under Romano.

Sand and Water
Episode 2 Originally aired: October 19, 2000Abby empathizes with the parents of a very prematurely born child. Greene and Corday try to work out their relationship differences. Benton and Romano argue over a homeless man's extensive treatment needs. Weaver and Kovac look after a comatose woman whose same sex love has no legal grounds of decisionmaking. Malucci hides from a woman looking for him. Carter contemplates his future.

Episode 3 Originally aired: October 26, 2000Romano takes out a past disagreement on Benton. Carter is uncomfortable with the limitations put upon him because of his drug recovery. An incident at a science fiction convention sends "aliens" to the ER. Corday helps Greene with a procedure through use of an intercom, even as she operates. Frank keeps close tabs on patients he finds suspicious.

Episode 4 Originally aired: November 2, 2000Benton is desperate for a new position when Romano sends out words against him. Carter returns to active ER duty. Sparks fly between Abby and Kovac before fate intervenes in the form of a mugger. Malucci tries to avoid putting Greene on the ice for a hockey match if he can find someone better.

Episode 6 Originally aired: November 16, 2000Abby's mother visits. Greene and Corday's vow of some personal time together is shortlived when she has to perform surgery. Kovac thinks a father has been abusive towards his daughter.

Episode 7 Originally aired: November 23, 2000It's a bad Thanksgiving in the ER as Abby attempts to rid herself of her mother, Greene receives bad news and Corday finds that she's been sued for malpractice. Chen has to handle her mother's newfound knowledge of her pregnancy. Romano refuses Benton's pay check. A blast goes off in the ER.

Episode 8 Originally aired: December 7, 2000Abby's mother makes a scene while shopping. Corday lives through a full day confrontation with her malpractice accusers. Benton hear of gang involvement in a relative's death. Greene worries about Carter's follow through on his drug addiction. Abby is physical with Kovac, but turns to Carter for a shoulder to lean on.

Episode 11 Originally aired: January 11, 2001Benton finds his relationship deteriorating because of his desire to help a wayward girl. Kovac verbally opposes treating a drunk driver. Greene recovers from his brain surgery. Carter contemplates revealing the temptation he felt to Weaver.

Episode 12 Originally aired: February 1, 2001Weaver rethinks submitting a work accident when the illegal operators decide to rid themselves of the evidence with fire. Greene appears deeply affected by the surgery. Benton takes on a new position without learning all the details from Romano. Carter's honesty with Weaver puts restrictions on his prescriptive ability.

Kovac's lost faith becomes more evident in attending a religious ceremony. Benton finds his new position as director of diversity politically difficult. Episode 16 Originally aired: March 1, 2001Legaspi is accused of sexual harassment by the suicidal girl who caused a train derailment. Abby looks for a baby stolen under her watch. Greene anxiously waits to be cleared by the competency board. Inspired by the Bishop, Kovac examines his life.

Episode 17 Originally aired: March 29, 2001An old female patient of Benton's grabs a police officer's sidearm which leads to her shooting death. Carter questions his ties with Rena and helps Abby try to help a busload of students showing sickness from some unknown cause. The results come in on Greene's competency review. Corday wants to show Romano that she is just as capable as she's always been.

Episode 18 Originally aired: April 19, 2001Greene and Corday make desperate dashes to get to their wedding ceremony. ER Staffers seek ways to attend. Carter and Abby help victims of an overturned prison corrections vehicle.

Episode 19 Originally aired: April 26, 2001Carter and Abby drive to Oklahoma when she receives word that her mother has been discovered there. Corday is brought in to give birth. Benton is frustrated by drunken fraternity patients, but later treats the teacher that founded his interest in scholastics.

Episode 20 Originally aired: May 3, 2001Abby testifies before a judge to try and keep her unstable mother from being released from watchful care. Weaver has to give bad news to a tv star from her childhood who has already fallen on hard times. Benton treats his former teacher for a heart attack. Benton injures his hand and learns of Carla and Reese's admission to the ER. Carter is enraged when he learns what put a pregnant woman into the ER.

Episode 21 Originally aired: May 10, 2001Abby receives some uplifting advice from her mother for dealing with her mother's condition. Claws are reared when Carla meets Cleo, Benton's current love. Greene finds signs of abuse on a boy he takes care of. Carter is rebuffed when he expresses interest in the chief resident position. Weaver meets Legaspi's new girlfriend with a heavy heart.

Episode 22 Originally aired: May 17, 2001Gunshot victims overrun the ER when a foster care facility comes under fire. Greene fears for Corday and their child's life when he realizes his connection to the shooter. Carter, despite awkwardness, helps Chen apply for the chief resident position. Carla's husband accosts Benton. Finch fears she may have come into contact with HIV. Romano fights against Legaspi's continued stay at the ER.
