Excruciatingly good

Gervais has comedy-of-embarrassment off to a fine art. Hard to watch sometimes, but so true to life it hurts. "Extras" is the nearest the UK has to thebbrilliant Curb Your Enthusiasm. It's also very, very funny.

Like the British version of The Office, you may have to give this show a couple of episodes before you love it. But once it clicks, it's painfully hilarious. So uncomfortable and absurd. Ricky Gervais's character is so inappropriate in the best way. And I love to see his female co-star (don't know her name) in Ugly Betty. I hope she'll be in season 2.

I LOVE THIS SHOW, THE CAST, AND MOST OF ALL RICKY GERVIAS. I HOP THAT THIS SERIES WILL COME BACK. I HAVE RECORDED EVERY EPISODE AND WHEN WATCHING OTHER PROGRAMS GETS A LITTLE DEPRESSING, I WATCH ONE OR MORE OF THE EPISODES I RECORDED. I LAUGH THE 5TH OR 6TH TIME AROUND AS I DID WHEN WATCHING THE ORIGINAL. YOU GO EXTRAS!!!!!!

I'm disappointed that someone would say that it's the 'nearest' the UK has to offer to 'curb your enthusiasm'. Yeah sure curb your enthusiasm was good....but really... Extras is in a league of its own for artistic integrity.

Cant wait until next season

I have watched this show since the first season it is great. Maggie definately makes it worth watching. I am diasapointed that the second season wasn't longer. I especially love all the guest apperances.
