The 10th season of "The Biggest Loser" is about to begin, so get ready for another wild, emotional ride (there won't be a dry eye in the room!) as overweight contestants learn that the more you lose, the more you gain in this battle-of-the-bulge competition. And for all you Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels fans out there, don't fret; the tough-as-nails trainers are back on board and ready to deliver equal doses of encouragement and grueling "Last Chance Workouts." It will be tough to top last season, which also happened to be "Survivor's" greatest, but a fresh batch of castaways will try their best as CBS's reality-competition mainstay returns with its 21st season. Set in the Nicaraguan jungle, the contestants will be divided up into two tribes based on their ages. The Espada tribe will feature 40-plus contestants, while the La Flor tribe will include contestants 30 and younger. After being divided, they must fend for themselves, compete in challenges, and use dirty tactics to avoid elimination. Gorgeous faces, vicious catfights, and an enviable grand prize — time to get fierce, girls! Hosted by Tyra Banks, "America's Next Top Model" is The CW's popular reality competition that pits young women against one another to find out who has what it takes to become the world's next big model. And according to network brass, the 15th cycle of "ANTM" will focus on "high fashion," with the winner also landing on the coveted cover of Italian Vogue. Wednesdays at 8pm ET on The CW. Sharp-tongued celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay returns for a seventh season in this intense culinary competition, which pits ambitious chefs (from culinary students to caterers) against each other to compete for the job of a lifetime. While living together in Los Angeles, the contestants take on cooking challenges and work as teams to put on weekly dinner services in a makeshift "Hell's Kitchen" restaurant. Ramsay's temper tends to flare up during dinner service — and just about any time his prodigies don't live up to his standards — so get ready for plenty of bleeped-out shouting fits. Each week, another competitor is eliminated, until one is rewarded with a coveted chef's job at a fine-dining restaurant. No word yet on what the big prize will be this time around, but the previous season had an executive chef's position at London's Savoy Hotel up for grabs. It's baaack! That's right; following one too many lackluster seasons of "Celebrity Apprentice," millionaire mogul Donald Trump is dusting off the original "Apprentice." And according to the reality show's home, NBC, the timing makes perfect sense — with the economy in the toilet, viewers will want to see regular businesspeople from all walks of life competing for the grand prize: a one-year, $250,000 contract to run one of Trump's many multi-million dollar companies. Before you ask: Yes, "America's Funniest Home Videos" is still on the air. (In fact, at 21 seasons and counting, it's ABC's longest running prime-time show ever.) Remember when it all began back in 1989, with host Bob Saget and clunky VHS camcorders? Nowadays, Tom Bergeron ("Dancing With the Stars") handles the hosting duties, and the videos are more plentiful than ever, thanks to everybody having a video camera right in their cell phones. And as YouTube has proven, the sight of unsuspecting dads taking shots to the groin never stops being funny. Enjoy yet another year of "AFHV" — it's not going anywhere. Presented with a variety of new challenges, the team will continue to exceed expectations and give deserving families an unbelievable fresh start with a gorgeous, state-of-the-art home. The eighth season will include plenty of tears, "OMG!" moments as the house is revealed, and surprise guests who bring plenty of extra energy to the week-long projects. Not for the faint of heart, this season of the rapid-paced reality show takes off at lightning speed from the Eastern Point Yacht Club in Gloucester, Massachusetts, making it the first season since All-Stars to start in a location other than SoCal. CBS found a surprise hit in "Undercover Boss," a series that was both heartwarming and intriguing in what it revealed about some of America's largest corporations. Taking the head honcho from companies ranging from the 7-11 franchise to 1-800-FLOWERS, the "bosses" infiltrated their own companies as undercover employees, often discovering misconceptions about their companies and rewarding some of the hardest-working employees. Thanks to the success of "Boss," CBS also recently unveiled plans to develop another corporate reality show that'll offer a behind-the-scenes look at a large company, with an added competitive element. On this season of "Undercover Boss," NASCAR, DirecTV, Great Wolf Resorts, and Chiquita Brands International, Inc. have all been confirmed as participants.
