Reality show based on "Fame", which was a feature film and a TV series about the struggles of students at New York City's High School for the Performing Arts, who attempted to achieve stardom as dancers, musicians and actors. The show began with a Nationwide talent search. The contestants were winnowed down to an initial 24 for the first episode. The sole prize winner will receive a year's accomodations at a prestigious hotel, a recording contract, dancing school and agency representation.
