When Brian starts to date Meg's teacher, Peter turns to James Woods for friendship. Things reach a boiling point between the two when Brian's girlfriend wants the school (James Woods High School) renamed. Stewie is intrigued by "The Da Vinci Code."
Peter and his friends become stranded on a deserted island. Peter finds that home life has changed in his absence and Lois is married to Brian.
Chris runs away from a high school Freshman hazing, but Peter eventually finds him in South America where, with the thirty-seven dollars in his wallet, he is the richest man in the country.

Peter starts a group for fat people and bands them together to stave off Lois' long-lost, crazy brother Patrick.
A visit from Peter's father causes Peter to examine his own faith, which he then places in the Fonz. Stewie falls ill when Peter allows his father to baptise him in contaminated Holy Water.
Brian's close brush with death, after Peter runs him over with the car, gives him a renewed joy in living.
Peter's reunion rouse is foiled by the appearance of Tom Brady who sees his football potential. Unfortunately, Peter's showboating leads to his defeat. Brian pays dearly for a gambling debt to Stewie.

Peter is inspired to write an erotic novel which Carter publishes. But when Peter's audio version of the book gets Carter in legal and financial trouble, he is reduced to the lowly middle class. Also, Chris suddenly turns into a genius and challenges Stewie as they both try to take over the world.
