Sometimes i watch this show on ABC family. and boy does it bring back memories, I remember when this show was still on the air in 1989-1998, when friday nights used to be fun as a kid. on friday night as soon as it was 8pm, it was time for T.G.I.F! some weekends my brother and i would stay with my grandmother. and we would watch family matters over her house. and once she started watching the show with us, she liked it. and sometimes when my brother and i would be watching family matters, she would come into the room and say is urkel on? she never did get the name of the show right, she always called it the urkel show.(smile) but this show is a true 90`s classic, with the clothing, and even the hair styles, though i admitt i did have some of those clothes and i wore some of the hair styles also. i did`nt not even know that show had went of the air, until one day i was over my grandmothers house cleaning up, and she used to order the jet magazine, and it had just came in mail, and sure enough on the front cover it was an article about Family Matters being cancelled. and that was back in 1998. i kind of knew something was up, because they had kept showing re-runs. i can`t believe that it has been 9years since the show was cancelled. but every now and then i see the cast of family matters show up, either on a commerical or on a tv show. little richard is grown now playing as devon on the young and the restless, when i saw him all grown up, i all could say was , wow. but family matters was a good show. some people may say that this was a boring stupit show, but if i had kids now , i`d much rather them watch family matter than to watch alot of this mess on tv. yeah they don`t make shows like these anymore.

I remember before I went to school i would always watch family matters. It would be reruns, but they were still good. it was already bad enough that they stopped the new episodes, and now they stopped showing reruns!!! i miss the show and i wish there was some way that i could come on just one more time for me. come back steve urkel cause i need a laugh in the mornings!!!!!!

family matters is now on nickelodeon. its on after george lopez. i am so exited to see this how on again, now a whole new generation can enjoy it. this is great.

well now they took family matters off again just to put Roseanne I would rather have Family Matters that was my favaorite show,I wonder when They will put Family Matters back on the air i hope soon.
