Father Know's Best
June 20, 2009I remenber watching Father Knows Best thinking I may have a father to my children (I am the mother),, because I knew that the father of my children was not reliable. I was right.. I am now the most celebrated Father and Grandfather 36 years later. Father Knows best showed the value of sitting down at the dining table. Even though he never shared the bill issues with his children I knew he did because he was that kind of father to me. I spent years drunk on father's day feeling cheated,but each one of my children told me the same thing "YOU DID THE BEST YOU COULD MOM AND WE LOVE YOU" I couldn't have ask for more until about 13 years ago I got my first father's day card from one of my grndchildren attached was a picture. l love this show because i wanted to be just like betty she was my idol i also wanted to have a family just like them but i was more like kathy always getting into trouble and it seems like i could never stay clean like betty the princess. it was very hard to be a teen in the late 50's and early 60's clothing was a big issue e verything had to match not like to day where everything goes. so this show was not good as it related to being only for the rich. laluna1951Was this review helpful to you? I would like to see the show reruns put back on any station. It was a very good family entertaining show with values and funny episodes that everyone could watch. It is compareable to Andy Griffin, Mash, Beaver, and that kind of auduance and family entertainment. Thank you for your consideration on this show.
