Good to see the other side of life

    March 4, 2009
The only program I watched is when they went to Paris and Monaco. It really gave me great insight to another life style that I would never experience in my life and also one that I wouldn't want to experience. When the economy of the world is in a state where excessive spending isn't an option for regular people, it really shows the shallowness of those who have money and how easily it is pissed away on luxuries that could have been spent on a family that is struggling to survive. There are so many honest hard working people who just need a break for them to get back on their feet. Wouldn't it make sense to assist those who really need it instead of spending money on material things that really don't mean anything in the long run? Spending 100,000 on a car could have paid off the student loans of a struggling hard working person. It could have bought a town home for a single mother who is working three jobs to survive. It could put someone through school who may have never had the chance to get an education. Or how about a family that has never been on a vacation. It's a free world, anyone could potentially make money but sometimes, no matter how hard you try, you cannot get ahead. I knew someone who was pretty wealthy, her husband worked in real estate and development. They had a million + dollar house and went on trip all over about once every 2-3 months. Well, her husband left her and now she is on a fixed income, she never did anything with her life but live high on the hog. She struggles with depression because she lost the life style she was used to. Now she lives alimony check to alimony check. She was stuck up, nose in the air, spent money like it grew on trees, bragged constantly about everything and everywhere she went and now look at her. I pitty her because instead of making something out of herself she ignored the possibility that she could lose everything one day. If she assisted those who needed help, maybe they would be there for her but she lost everyone - her rich friends dumped her because she didn't fit in any longer, her other friends abandoned her because they were so sick of the bragging. She had no one. Who is this person, a family member and even I don't feel sorry for her. Being rich is great, but don't spend frivilously, be giving, humble and kind. You may need it one day.
This show really allows me to be envious yet appreciating that I am doing something worth while in my life even if I am struggling, I know that I will be ok and anything I get as a reward will be due to my own hard work.

    Haven't seen this yet but....

I can't say I disagree with the assessment that here is this spoiled, demanding TV show writer and 4 women running around trying to make her happy makes you wonder about such a fuss budget. The intriguing thing for me is that SHE'S NOT ACTING. She's not a made up character!
Wouldn't the most logical thing to do is switch to a more pet friendly hotel?
Will definitely try to catch it on Saturday...I have a funny feeling I'm not going to like this weeks client.

    I feel irritated by it...

    November 24, 2008
This show was difficult to watch. It was a show about the most trivial, petty, inconsequential people in the world! The Client was horrendous. Truly. I happen to have a shih tzu I take everywhere with me--she's my surrogate child. I do understand that. What I don't understand is that anyone could be SO SPOILED that nothing pleases her. Apparently this woman is so completely catered to in her life that she can be this awful, demanding, malcontented person, and 4 women will spend all their time trying to please her. Wealth apparently allows you to act anyway you want, if you're shameless enough to take advantage of that fact.
This show manages to make you dislike both the client and the toadying women who attend them.

    First Class All the Way

    November 17, 2008
First episode was rather boring, but things are starting to heat up in the office which is making the show more interesting. The blond vs. the brunette is especially entertaining as they are a clash of personalities. I think the blond is rather pretentious and snooty. It's hard to believe that such an individual is real and not acting!
