When Clive, Daphne’s ex-fiancé from England, comes to Seattle hoping for a second chance, Daphne recruits Niles to pose as her new husband. Frasier, Martin and Roz agree to go along with the fib just when Daphne begins to have second thoughts about her relationship with Clive.
Roz fixes Frasier up with her friend who is a professional golfer. But when the Bulldog steals her away from him, he surprisingly ends up falling head over heels in love.
Frasier begins experiencing disturbing dreams of him in bed with Gil Chesterton, the station’s food critic. He seeks the help of Niles to help him put these nightmares to rest.
Martin makes a new friend, T.H. Houghton who also happens to be a favorite author of Frasier and Nile’s. After writing one best selling novel then disappearing, the brothers may have stumbled upon a new manuscript in the author’s possession.
Niles fills in for Frasier at the radio station and offers some off-air advice to Reggie McLemore, a down-and-out professional basketball player. When Reggie’s misfortunes turn around, Niles becomes an overnight star but not due to his sound advice but from his hair.
Consoling Daphne from her most recent break-up, Niles finally works up enough courage to confess his love for her. Frasier convinces him otherwise and Niles becomes furious when Daphne picks-up a ‘Niles look-a-like’ at a bar.
When Frasier spends the Thanksgiving holiday in Boston with Lilith and Frederick, the parents join forces to enroll their son in a prestigious prep academy. Unfortunately the meeting with the headmaster, Dr. Campbell, does not go well but Frasier and Lilith are relentless.

Martin misinterprets Frasier’s compliment toward a painting as a genuine liking for it. So when Martin surprises Frasier with the art piece, Frasier must find a way to break the news to him that he hates the gift.
It is love at first sight for Martin when he falls in love with a bartender named Sherry. Unfortunately Martin’s fondness for the boisterous barmaid comes with much disproval from Frasier and Niles.
Back in prep school, Frasier and Niles hatched a scheme which set-up the school bully and got him expelled. Years later, Frasier feels compelled to meet with him coincidentally in jail and learns that his criminal days began once he was expelled.

Frasier’s decision to update the door knocker on his apartment door leads into a dispute with his condo’s board of directors. In an effort to break their oppressive rule, Frasier decides to run for board president.
Told in a flashback, Frasier recalls a story to a caller about a recent event in his own life. Eddie, Martin’s dog, is depressed so Martin seeks the help of an animal psychiatrist for emotional healing.
When two beautiful women agree to spend the weekend in a secluded mountain cabin with Frasier and Niles, Frasier must convince Niles that he is not betraying Maris.
Niles has a housewarming party to celebrate his new apartment. Frasier attends in hopes of becoming acquainted with Niles’ neighbor, Stephanie, but is instead distracted by his brother’s new annoying pet cockatoo, “Baby”.
Roz receives a ‘community service’ sentence for traffic violations and Frasier encourages her to do her time in a local retirement home so she can overcome her fear of aging. The unexpected begin happening as residents of the home begin dying all around her.
Frasier’s son Frederick comes for his annual visit and wants to visit the Microsoft headquarters. Unable to make this happen, Frasier takes him to the radio station where Bulldog asks Frasier to replace Roz in the station’s softball game. Frederick really wants to see his dad win, but unfortunately Frasier does not the first thing about baseball.
Roz finally receives her chance to audition as a radio host when a time slot opens at the radio station. However, Frasier accidentally sabotages Roz by mentioning the opening to his uber-aggressive agent, Bebe.
In celebration of the radio station’s anniversary, Frasier decides to direct a classic radio drama. The show becomes more than Frasier can handle and his dictatorship causes his actors to turn against him.
Frasier invites Niles to a benefit he is hosting, and Niles intends to cease this opportunity to meet eligible women. Unfortunately for him, he has strict competition with the womanizing Frasier. Meanwhile, Martin breaks up with his girlfriend Sherry.
Frasier realizes Martin’s unhappiness about his break up with Sherry so Frasier offers his professional advice to mend their relationship.

Sherry passes Daphne’s phone number out to strangers and Daphne has enough. She moves out of Frasier’s apartment and seeks a place to stay with Niles. Now Niles has the opportunity to finally profess his love to Daphne if he finds enough courage.
Niles tries to convince Maris to seek marriage counseling but is instead served with divorce papers. He turns to Frasier and Martin for consolation and advice.
After receiving his divorce papers, Niles asks Frasier if he thinks that he and Maris are meant to be together. Wanting to deliver the most appropriate answer, Frasier contemplates the question for days.
Frasier is feeling the loneliness of the single life and is re-awakened by a woman’s accidental message on his answering machine. Hungry for love, he rushes to the airport to meet the mysterious woman and possibly to wave goodbye to the city of Seattle.
