A dimwitted intern, gets the chance to host a morning radio show when the regular DJ quits suddenly. The result is a spectacular train wreck. Kiefer Sutherland, Angela Kinsey, Luis Guzman and a troop of Christopher Walken impersonators, are all subjected to our loveable idiot radio host. Meanwhile the station manager tries desperately to find a replacement while co-host Anna tries to hold the show together.
Lance gets his first taste of real fame, a bus stop billboard advertising his new morning show. The moron on in the morning, interviews Jack Coleman, Spanx inventor Sarah Blakely and Daniela Sea. But when Lance promotes a $10,000 contest over the radio, it will take Mad TV cast members, pretending to win the money using different voices to save his butt.
James cracks down when Lance's hazing of his intern replacement gets out of hand. Lance's new "motorcycle" becomes the source of a heated debate with skateboard legend Tony Hawk. After giving "Ugly Betty's" Ashley Jensen an identity crisis, Lance attempts to cure Howie Mandel of his OCD.
Lance meets a new manager on MySpace and tries to muscle James for new perks befitting his new star status. In the booth, Emily Deschanel and voice legend Don Lafontaine are drafted into a shady endorsement scheme. "American Idol's" Blake Lewis and UFC Champ Rampage Jackson also square off with the moron.
A bungled "Sidekick for a Day" contest puts the station in turmoil sending Anna out the door. Zachary Quinto gets some unsolicited career advice from Lance and Kat Von D gets a big bellyache courtesy of Moron in the Morning.
After ticking off the wrong listener, Lance is forced to get a bodyguard to protect him. But can he be trusted? R&B star Omarion, comedian Bob Saget and Danneel Harris, all school Lance on upping his much desired "Street Cred."
When Emo Sarah gets Jury Duty, her hot temporary replacement takes a shine to Lance. But will new intern Kalen get in his way? Mary Lynn Rajskub goes Jack Bauer on Lance, while James Van Der Beek and Jeff Corwin do their best to tolerate him, to no avail.
Lance comes up with a plan when he discovers that KBOM's 30th anniversary party threatens to obscure his own birthday. Ray Romano, Penn & Teller and Melora Hardin all drop in to show some Moron in the Morning love. Plus, Fred Willard guest stars as KBOM's station owner.
