George Segal

An accomplished banjo player noted for his wry wit and debonair charm, George Segal organized "Bruno Lynch and His Imperial Jazz Band" while still in high school and continued performing with the group as a college student. After graduating from Columbia University with a degree in drama, he found himself cleaning toilets at NYC's Circle in the Square Theatre during its heyday and understudying a part in "La Ronde" he would never get to play.
