Wow, there's a lot of talking in this episode. Like, scene after endless looooong scene. Rory starts her community service, and talks to her grandparents (and their maid) and the women of the DAR. Lorelai and Luke decide not to buy Twickham House and live at her place, instead, but not until after they've talked about it. In other big news, Lorelai's new dog isn't the only thing she's keeping secret from Rory. She hasn't told Rory about the engagement, and when Rory finds out (from talking to Luke), she is terribly hurt and betrayed. Now she knows how Lorelai feels.
