Seriously - Dogs deserve to have a show

    July 9, 2008
Before you knock a show about dogs - remember this:
Dogs are used to sniff bombs in Iraq.
Dogs are used to find 9/11 victims
Dogs are used to help blind people
Dogs are used to find lost children in the woods
Dogs are used by the police to capture felons
Dogs protect their homes and humans
Dogs are used for therapy in hospitals
Dogs are used to find people in avalanches...etc..
This show is overdue - it seems UnAmerican to not love this show.

leaseswp must be a cat person

    June 1, 2008
i think it is fun and a good break from reality tv's drunken fights, eating bugs, talk behind each others back, form alliances. first time in history where the contestant are really just doing it for fun! dogs rock, and you "leaseswp" dont. sowie.

    I loved this show

    July 11, 2008
Well, I loved the show. Even if there are dogs who can do more tricks out there, just the love of, for example, the guy from Texas for his dog, Star, who said "This dog is my family", would make me watch it. It made me furious to see one of the humans physically manipulating her dog to sit and I was very happy when the judge reprimanded her for doing it. The dogs are all adorable -- the humans? -- well, we'll see about that as time goes on. I"m not sure dressing dogs in human clothing is a good idea, but I don't know that it hurts them. At least the dressed up dogs didn't appear to be knawing on the clothes and trying to take them off as my dog would be doing. I'll be watching every week.

    Devoted Dogs

    September 10, 2008
I couldn't wait to see what would be asked of the people and dogs alike. I don't believe that a dog or person has to preform to perfection to be great. All of the dogs in their respective stages of training were exceptional and I enjoyed each episode greatly. I do think the outcome was a little dishearting though. The two dogs that were in the end should each receive a trophy and monitary compensation. The little Andrew did all that he was asked to do with no hesitation and showed great love and admiration for Laurie. Travis and Presley did an awesome job as well and did deserve the trophy and money but so did Andrew and Laurie. I'm a mother of a "little" dog and wouldn't even begin to ask her to accomplish what the judges expected. Every one of the dogs SHOWED their love for their partner. Hope there is a follow-up!

Bill and Starr were the best part

    August 29, 2008
I think it was awful for Bill and Starr to be eliminated. Starr and Bill had more heart and character than most of the people on the show. Everyone looked up to him and he was willing to help everyone. He deserved to win. What dog, even with the love that Star had for Bill, would jump off a platform. Yes, Galaxy did, and now is hurt. But to keep some of the other dogs and send Starr home should not have happened. Terrible decision. Think I am done watching.
