" Freedom Of WHAT? "

Let me start by saying that I am a woman of color, and I am totally against Predjudice, Racisim or Bias of any kind, and from anyone. That being said, I don't condone the comment that was made by Isaiah Washington, and yes I think that he should have been reprimanded for saying it in the first place, but where do we draw the line between expressing an opinion of personal preference in an ignorant and insensitive way ( Isaiah Washington), and someone that makes a statement that not only hurts, and embarrasses a single individual, but serves to degrade, and insult an entire race of people as a whole ( Don Imus ). Should they both be reprimanded ? Absolutely! Should Don Imus with multiple media forums be allowed to continue to express such negative, derogative, and stereo-typical disrespect for a people in general through his job ? Absolutely Not !! Do I feel that Isaiah Washington even after apologising , and coming out with public service announcements to shed light on the wrong that he did, and the negative effect that words can have, should have been fired from his job ? Absolutely Not !!! This is my opinion, but I'm sure that I'm not alone. If we are to condemn Isaiah for the comment that he made, then maybe we should go a little further back, like say to the Bible, and condemn GOD because his word is what said homosexuality is wrong. I didn't write it. He destroyed Sodom and Gomorra for some of the same activities, but I guess this is relevant only if you believe in God, and his word, the Bible. Again I want to say I love everyone. That is what we commanded to do, and it is not my place to judge anyone for their sins, we all will be accountable for our own one day. So the best that we can do is to try to live a life that is loving, and forgiving. And when we make mistakes ( As humans we all do ), hopefully we try to learn from them, and grow to be better human beings. That is my humble opinion.

Down with Love

Whoa, the last episode was really a downer. Every relationship is crashed on the rocks except for that of the Chief & his wife. The whole episode was like the death of love, or any hopes for it. This is supposed to get us enthralled for next season?
Looks like George is getting written out of the show, which is such a drag. I love George!! He's such a tormented puppy dog, & fun character. I hope Callie leaves with him: she was so nasty about rubbing it into Izzie that she's got George under her thumb. She looked like a lady wrestler in her bridesmaid dress.
It's becoming harder & harder to have any empathy for our heroine, Meredith. She has SUCH emotional constipation. As surrounded as she is by intelligent doctors, hasn't anyone thought of suggesting she has HUGE issues with intimacy & freakin' needs some therapy???? It's not even credible anymore that she cuts Derek out as much as she does, when she most needs a hug or a shoulder.
And what's with Burke? He has been so sure that Christina is the woman for him, says "she wouldn't be Cristina" if she didn't freeze at the back of the church. He walks back there all calm, & dumps her back there?? Is it part of his tizzy over not being named Chief??
Really depressing episode........the writers need some Prozac!!
