With his untimely death, Chandler Smythe begins a new and unusual afterlife: drafted onto the frontlines of a worldwide war against evil, the deceased man patrols Hollywood together with Henry, a cynical, wisecracking veteran of The Corps, enacting a new style of law and order while bounty hunting for the Almighty. Together, their job is to rehabilitate those who have struck a deal with Satan s forces or to strike them down.
