Pushing Daisy's
June 20, 2009
I grew up with my children. No father only Cunningham. I had a rough time as a single mother, but I think it would have been harder without the reference of Happy Days. I am not simple minded enough to beleive that all problems can be solved in 30 minutes. but they were solved in the home with everyone envolved. and that is how I raised my children. The police never came to my door. My children never did drugs or never let me see or hear about it. Iam the mother, father, grandmother, teacher, driver, chief cook and bottle washer, jack of all trades master of non. I give happy days there props. I am now 55 13 grandchildren (we can't have anymore) well I could be a greatgrandma by the time I turn 56. but I am streight shooter with the grandkids. safe sex if your going to have , let me know so we can get some protection. I was a mother at 20 and I wasn't ready eventhough I wanted kids. Just as the cunninghams did. I just knew things were giong to be ok.

Happy Days

This was a fun show. What bugs me about it was that Chuck was wrote off without reason. Also when Richie left the show took a downward spiral. Henry Winkler became an american icon as the Fonz.

waste of time/money
June 1, 2008
being a citizen of the fine city of milwaukee, this statue is a waste of time and money, money which is needed for improvement of the city itself. the statue also is going to give people the idea that Milwaukee is even remotely like how it was protrayed in Happy Days. Milwaukee is a booming city now, and people who would even plan on coming to Milwaukee to try and feel the Happy Days vibe will be sorely disappointed. Happy Days was only based in Milwaukee, but filmed in a studio in California. The statue is a pointless thing that will no doubt be defaced withing a very short time of it being put up.

sad
June 1, 2008
sad day for milwaukee. some cities boast the birthplace of significant medical, social, musical movements/discoveries etc etc.
Milwaukee has to rely on a fictional character whose place of residence just happened to be scripted in Milwaukee?
Either the Milwaukee river shoreline is infinitely long or Milwaukee is insignificant and living in the past.
and my time is of no value to be wasting away typing this.
Aaaaay
