“Stalag 17 Portrait” Eduardo Pagan investigates a portrait made by an American POW in a World War II prison camp that reveals the story of American prisoner survival. “Seadrome” Tukufu Zuberi looks at an early invention designed to ferry passengers across the Atlantic Ocean – through the air. “Black Tom Shell” Gwen Wright examines an artifact that could shed light on the Black Tom Explosion of 1914, when German spies set off a series of explosions on New York harbor’s Black Tom Island.
