HomeFront was a wonderful period dramedy about a little town in Ohio adjusting to the changes in America after WWII. This show was the launchpad for the careers of actors such as Kyle Chandler (Friday Night Lights) and John Slattery (Ed, Desperate Housewives). The show really pulled you in and you actually cared about the cast of characters, from the Jewish Italian war bride/ Holocaust survivor, to the rich factory owners dealing with the loss of their son.
