Liberation...

As a Black woman who has absolutely nothing to look forward to in life--no love interests or friends--I can honestly say that I enjoy this show. It has defined me as a Black woman for everyone else--no need to get to know me, just watch "I Love New York".
...
Obviously I hate the blasted show, but I watch just to see how much lower I and other will be viewed as. I watch because I need to know how much harder I will have to prove myself as a Black woman--prove that I am not like New York or any of those nasty dehumanizing stereotypes.

Come on people...a lot of people are downing the show because they think it's stupid and whatever, whatnot...it's all about RATINGS people and whether you love her or hate her...NEW YORK GETS RATINGS!!! If it wasn't for her on both seasons of Flavor of Love, the show would have never been as successful as it was! And although I am Black and can see how the negative portrayls and images of Black women can be seen through New York...I say what the hell!!!! All people have things they do that they know are stupid and unnecessary (believe me, New York knows what she's doing!). So give that exploitation excuse a rest...it's all for the love of entertainment and $$$. For those people who don't agree with the show for any reason... it's simple: Don't watch it!!! But if you're looking for laughs and action-packed drama...I Love New York is the show to see!
P.S. The show can get on your nerves having to see New York's ugly ass mama every damn show...VH1 could've done without her because ugh...not something I want to look at!!!!!!!
If the ratings go down for any reason, it will be because of that ugliness!

Lol, I think this show is hilarious! New york is the most ridiculous bipolar hunman being i have ever seen! It is insane! I was drunk when I first saw it and swore to god her mom was a drag queen that didnt try hard enough! New York is attractive but she wakes up at 6am with blue eye shadow on??? yea right. i think tht is ru pauls lost love child lol. As stupid as it may be, it is still funny as hell

I saw the preview and I looked forward into seeing the show. I saw the preview - New York deserve love - she is entertaining and real _ I can't wait to see every episode.

I HATE TO ADMIT IT BUT, I LOVE THIS SHOW. IF SHE IS ACTING SHE DESERVES TO GET PAID BECAUSE SHE IS VERY CONVINCING. I HOPES SHE PICKS BUDHA BECAUSE TAILOR MADE IS TO MUCH OF A NICE GUY TO BE WITH HER.
