August 22, 2009
We love this show why oh why did it end so quickly, my husband and I think this is the best tv show in years, please bring it back!!!!!!!! We have just watched the series again on Warner TV this show had it all, believable, thrilling, suspense, we can’t’ believe that it was axed after the first series are they mad!! This would have attracted record viewings, and to cap it all they kept lost which in our opinion is totally inferior to invasion we stopped watching after 3 episodes we thought it was boring!!!!!!!!!!!

A DISSAPOINTING SCI FI SERIES
April 26, 2009
The Invasion series started out really well with a story about the interesting and very creepy alien human take over.
Then, after about the third episode, it lumbered along with a lot of unessasary fill in trivia... missing persons and hurricane clean up with some luminescent jelly fish etc. Soon afterwards, each episode started a cliff hanger right at the end of each of the weekly programs, which then started up the explanation on the next show. This was the producers ploy to get the viewers back each time to see what was going to happen. As usual with these series, the cliffhanger was disappointing and the story developed very slowly.
Unfortunately... as reviews will tell you back in 2005, the television public lost interest because of the slow plot, and the series was abruptly cancelled.
At the very end of the series, they suddenly pulled the plug with one of the major cliff hangers still in progress and left the public wondering just what was going to happen to one of the main actors. I checked around at the time to find out what happened, and as I mentioned... the program was cancelled because of the viewers lack of interest.
The producers didn't even bother to end this series... it was simply cancelled. Get ready for a really bad ending after spending lots of time following this one. This series gets a big 0 .
Another big loser was the mini series, Surface. Again another cliff hanger that fizzled out without a real ending. In the end, the cast was stranded in an old church with huge reptiles swimming in the flooded town while some mysterious scientists escaped to somewhere underground. Sounds vague... yes, it made no sense to anyone, the producers simply ran out of money or interest without any regard to the people who watched the series. Both a couple of losers that needed endings before bringing them back to the screen.
UPDATE APRIL 2008 Yes, they pulled it again! Why... because it's a stupid.... BORING series with absolutely nothing going on episode after episode. Thank the heavens they didn't bother to get to the end of the series before the bad ratings axed it!! Har, Har!
