It's official: 300 is set to go to battle again. Frank Miller is writing the second take on the epic thats based on his graphic novel, with Zack Snyder expected to direct. Snyder's final decision will depend on how Miller's approach plays out.

It's not clear yet whether the next 300 be a prequel or a spin-off of the Spartan tale, especially when most of the original warriors (including King Leonidas/aka the uber-buff Gerard Butler) were killed off.
