This was one of the best shows on television. It was grounded in reality, had a message, and just plain fun to watch. Every episode had the viewer laughing, crying and hopefully thinking about the message of each episode.

I believe the writer had some divine help. I vote to have Joan of Arcadia reinstated! Television for the most part is garbage. I can't believe people enjoy watching reality shows which are full of self indulgence, stupidity, and just plain trash!

Joan of Arcadia continues to amaze me despite the fact it has been off the air for a few years. This show has a wide appeal across age barriers and touches on safe and controversial issues. It is a show for teens, adults, and seniors.

I was thrilled to see the second season come out on DVD and only wish there was more to see after this. CBS was entirely WRONG for cancelling the show and definitely did not consider their audience when doing so.

JOA is a realistic show with realistic characters - sometimes you like them and sometimes you don't. That's the magic of the show. Unlike most shows currently on the air, JOA leaves you with a sense of hope. The show has meaning beyond entertainment. Barbara Hall [producer] and the entire cast put together one of the best series I've ever seen on TV. Bring back Joan of Arcadia!

I'm not sure there is any young person who couldn't identify with the character of Joan Gerardi...especially teenage girls. This show had all the potential to be hoky or silly or really stupid. Instead, it dealt with real life issues of love, disappointment, heartbreak, lonliness and friendship. And just when you thought Joan had everything all figured out, God would show in the most unlikely of places to help get her back on track.

I liked this show for many reasons. But one of the biggest reasons I liked it was because it made God more real to people. It opened up our eyes and let us see our great big world from a whole different perspective. God never took away Joan's free agency. She was always free to choose which path she wanted. And sometimes she made the wrong choice and when we were left wondering why a loving and merciful God would allow such a thing, He would show up and give her comfort and help her to make sense of the big picture.

I'm truly sorry this series was canceled. I can only hope it will either come back or another similar show will come along in the future and be as entertaining as this one. Personally, I'd like to see this show revived! It's been a long time since it was canceled and I still miss it.
