Some of the best television ever!
September 22, 2008
This is probably some of the best television ever produced. It has the feel of a great movie but longer and rarely gets boring. If you like real drama this is it.This miniseries is up there with "Lonesome Dove" and "Roots". Not to be missed.

A Spectacular and Engaging depiction of US History
September 22, 2008
This is a true treat for everyone. Not only is the story engaging, but it actually shows you how hard life was so many years ago. The acting is absolutely top notch. Paul Giamatti was spectacular, the way he portrayed John Adams fighting for the rights and freedoms for the people in this country is a sight to see. You truely feel as though we were there spectating the birth of our great country. All of the actors portrayed there characters in amazing light, including; Abigail Adams(Laura Linney), Thomas Jefferson(Stephen Dillane), Ben Franklin(Tom Wilkinson), George Washington(David Morse, Loved the uncany resemblence and believability. Fantastic depiction), and many many more. I would love to own this series on DVD. To everyone who took part in creating this series, I thank you for an amazing view of our countries revolutionary history! I give this a 10 out of 10, please, watch this series it is stupendious.

I love John Adams ! The cast is brilliant and the sets amazing. This serier is so powerful and I felt that I was right there. The music can only be described as excellent as well. Never before have I been so excited to learning about our nations fore-fathers and the history of early America. I hope the writers, director, producer Tom Hanks, the cast and crew win great honors!

Every once in a while a show comes on that demonstrates the power of media to improve our understanding of history and our conscious. John Adams is such a show. I'm very impressed with the detail and the accuracy of the life and times of our second president. Thanks to HBO for making this significant contribution to our body of knowledge.
