Girls got a dream , So SHUT UP!

    July 20, 2009
I love Kathy. She is real & uses her charm (foul lanuage) with her sense of humor and I love it. lol If we can't be wowed by someone who has a goal of being on top then why do we like other so-called A list super stars? I think that if this show can prove anything, it is that the girl's got a dream! So shut up already if you hate her or don't like her.... MANY people DO! I love how she is with her family & how she is so loving to all her peeps. I hope she reaches her goal. She has made me proud to be a woman...And I admire her for her being so persistant. It's that perserverience that makes me glad she is doing this show in the first place. To show others not to give up on their dreams. I hope people can laugh with her and have a little UMPH to do the same thing...never stop believing that YOU CAN DO IT! **smiles** Go Kathy!!!!

    E list

    June 29, 2009
she is on my E list. (for enough) Since when was a stream of obscene language considered humor? Doesn't she realize she just isn't funny anymore? Almost everyone else does.

    Give her credit

    June 8, 2009
I respect people's choice of humor and agree that the language could be cleaned up a little bit, but come on! Kathy is hilarious. She has sharp wit and just the right amount of sarcasm in her performances and her show. She reminds me so much of me, we would get along great. I would love to see Kathy in person; come to Grand Rapids!

    ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

    May 3, 2009
I used to watch My Life on the D-List all the time. When it first came on the air (and before Kathy got herself off the D list to the apparent A-list now) it was really edgy and funny. But after she won her Emmy it seems she felt she had arrived big-time on tv and became just plain coarse. When she went to England and met with Ricky Gervais who is really funny and a tv businessman as well, she made a fool of herself when she was talking to him. Kathy and Ricky were discussing her upcoming British show but he was clearly taken aback with her language and demeanor (DE-meaning, it was) and he looked at her, being puzzled by what he was hearing and said in effect, whaaat, you really seriously want to do that?? When Kathy met some British gays who she must have thought would automatically be fans, they were much more shy than her usual American gay audience and visibly uncomfortable as she let loose with her foul mouth. For a wordly-wise star now, Kathy should know that British humor while spot-on funny is nowhere near as COARSE as American humor, even their gay humor by gays is nowhere near as vulgar tho' still very funny and sharp. I've lost interest in her- too bad, when she was really D-list I never missed a show.
