The kids are getting bored, so the council decides it would be a good idea to have a talent show and the kids respond positively to the suggestion. Savannah and Kennedy prepare a traditional Kentucky dinner. The kids compete making art out of chewing gum. Savannah deals with her feelings of homesickness. The talent show is a success and the council has a hard time deciding who to give the next Gold Star to, but they finally settle on Kennedy.
