In Response to:TOP COOKS ARE ALREADY GONE
September 5, 2007
Hey Genius, the show that you are referring to is called "Hell's Kitchen". Kitchen Nightmares is a totally different show. Kitchen Nightmares is a good show. I look forward to this show being shown in the US.

Love the Chef!!
November 28, 2007
We can't wait for Chef Ramsey each week. The way he handles any given situation. Every restaurant owner thinks they have just the right combination, until they run into trouble. Once Chef Ramsey is called, you know there are serious issues...but still they question him. Look at his success rate...he's been there.
I can't wait to get the DVD's for Kitchen Nightmares and Hell's Kitchen! I would love to hear the unsensored versions and know what's really being said!
We all love the shows and can't wait for the next ones to come out!

Finally an honest look
November 28, 2007
I spend a great deal of time in resturants and it is very frustrating to walk away disappointed in service or food quality or the cleanliness of a resturant. It makes me wonder, why are they even here?
Chef Ramsey knows what he is doing and he is honest enough and seems to really care enough about the food service industry that he wants to help those that are failing but cannot seem to figure out why.
Many times, it is just a simple "back to the basics" lesson.....QSC Quality-Service-Cleanliness. It also amazes me to see the owners that have such a big ego that they won't admit that their way is not working.
For myself and the untold millions of us out here that are really tired of bad resturant experiences, Thank You Chef!!!!!

Fox v. BBC
December 19, 2007
I completely agree with Jennifer about the differences in the shows from the two networks. The Fox (U.S.) show is much more abrasive and obsenity laden versus the BBC version. I believe, but don't know for sure, that the different cultures command different shows to peak interest.
Regardless, I love the show particularly since I have worked in the restaurant business for over 12 years in all capacities, ie dishwasher, bartender, etc. I would be curious to know the number of "makeovers" he performs that don't get aired for one reason or another.
