I grew up in the 80's and the Black KNIGHT RIDER TRANS AM was the coolest car of the era. It gave us a since of imagination when we were kids. Thinking how cool would it be to be Micheal Knight and fight crime in an indestructible car. That time has passed and now over twenty years later KNIGHT RIDER is back and I am reliving those childhood memories through the new series. The Black Trans AM may be gone and there is a new Micheal Knight but the story is still the same. One man can make a difference. It is nostalgic to those of us who grew up in the 80's and the memories never fade and I think the new generation will really embrace the show and have memories when they are older. The Shelby GT500 looks amazing and is the choice of the next generation just as the TRANS AM was for our generation. I would like to see the new KITT reflect the former KITT like have it do those incredible stunts that had us gripping the edge of our seat as we watched with amazement. Instead of KITT being deployed out of a cargo jet all the time bring back the black semi with the KNIGHT insignia on it. That way if KITT needs his system upgraded or needs to vanish quickly he has two alternatives. Its also is a great reflection from the past. There is one other thing that I think would really give the new show a classic feel. In the shows theme entrance have the black TRANS AM's beginning theme entrance start like this. 80's KITT is coming out of the distance in the dust cloud and as it gets closer have the TRANS AM morph into the SHELBY GT500 as it comes into the new series theme. That would really give those of us who grew up watching the original series a flashback of our childhood and it would also help the new generation have a view of how the show began years ago. To NBC and the new cast members thank you for bringing back one of the best series ever made I see this show having alot of success. TWO THUMBS UP!
