A mystery-comedy about a rabbi and an Irish police chief who form an unlikely alliance to solve the homicide of a housekeeper whose body was found on the doorstep of the synagogue. This was the pilot film to the series that during the 1976-77 season with Art Carney and Bruce Solomon (taking over for Stuart Margolin, who was otherwise occupied with "The Rockford Files" series).
