I have a long-running adoration of the original L&O, and for SVU as well. But Law & Order: CI is literally unbearable to me. Codenamed "The D'Onofrio Show" in my household, I cannot bear watching Det. Goren strut around and aesthetically bully everybody else off the screen with his completely unbelievable (even for TV) skill set and gaudy bodily gestures. The other characters are basically props, as they are barely visible next to him. We don't even need the [tastefully] cheesy monophasic L&O music to let us know when something important is happening.

I may give the newer episodes a shot now that they've gotten D'Onofrio's fat a$$ off.

D'Onofrio's character is sooooo annoying. I'm in Iraq now and got the complete box set of all the seasons. He gives his partner no credit at all. She is always in the background. Even in the opening credits all the pictures are of him. And he is always cocking his head when making some smart ass comment that eventually breaks the case. There is not other memorable character on this show because he upstages them all making this show very one dimentional. Pretty boring really. Give someone else a chance. I am a huge fan of SVU though so Im giving CI a chance.

I like to watching L&O C.I.because of Vincent D'Onofrio and Katherine Erbe.Without them it will be a waste of my time.Compare to other shows Goren and Eames together they get to the heart of the program.What I dislike about it,why are you going to replace them.Leave these two alone.Replace who ever you wont but not Goren and Eames.Vincent is a tall stricking handsome actor that portray Goren.they makes the show interesting. sign,upset Franklin

Like Goran and Eames team the best.Goran seems to know about people and how to handle them. I like his sensitivity. Eames is honest and says what she thinks. The two are not like each other but it works well with them as a team.

may 20, 2:00pm central Especially liked this episode due to its re relevance of what the soilders in the Iraq war are going through and how they may react after coming home. Also what goes on in Gorans' personal struggles(his ill and aging mother) and his reactions how it affects his job or vice versa.What time he has for each.
I like Goran's perceptiveness. Also, Goran and Eames research abilites. Good writers and direction for the two. Mostly seen reruns, and probalbly not all. Seen most of the new ones and these shows are just as good. Eames takes control more and Goran is not as agressive, but I like him that way as time goes on as it should be.
