First of all, no one underestimates the comic genius of Lewis Black. He may be an old neurotic pervert, but wow! is he likable! Posing as the be-all, end-all 'judge' of all things pop culture, Black and his crew of stumpy yes-men (fellow comics like Patton Oswald and Greg Giraldo, underrated talents who've come to our attention via Pam Anderson boob jokes and Snoop Dogg spliff cracks on Comedy Central's Roasts) pretend to argue the relative merits of popular American pastimes like the Pope and Paris Hilton. Each 'lawyer' is given a chance to prove their case, finally presenting a "Ripple of Evil" that details a worst-case scenario should the subject be allowed to roam unchecked. (insert drunk-joke here) As is the case with so many of Black's jokes, the final verdict seems to be on the American public for paying attention to all this crap anyway.

All in all it's way brainier than the majority of Comedy Centrals' offerings, and a welcome change from the d@#k and fart jokes the network usually presents. Catch this show before the producers come to their senses!
